I saw the race online, and noticed him, but didn't really know who he was. Thanks for the update.

Syzmanski took the WL from Martinez, and now Trey Cunningham of the US, takes the WL from Syzmanski! 7.44 in the heats in Boston. Wow, the hurdles are hot right now!!

Jakub Syzmanski of Poland topped Martinez's performance, running a WL time of 7.47 in Germany today. It's also a National Record. Martinez was in the race, but DQ'd. Assume it was a false start.

Thoraval followed up his 6.60, with a 6.62 in the heats today at a meet in France. Unfortunately he didn't do as well in the final, coming in 6th in 6.66. Also running were the Brits - Morgan-Harrison, Andrew Robertson, and Adam Thomas.

Austin Reeves led the Lakers to win over the Celtics in Boston with 32 points. Lebron and Anthony Davis did not play.

I think they are the Top 3 RBs, of those who weren't given a proper chance to succeed.

Quick highlights from the meet:

Yoshihide Kiryu of Japan set a NR in the 60m today in Ostrava, winning the race in 6.53. Good to see him performing so well after several years of injuries. Meanwhile, Samuele Ceccarelli was 7th in 6.74. Wonder what's up with him?

Another one - 21 yr old Eduard Kubliek of the Czech Republic won the 200m today in Ostrava, with a great indoor time of 20.66.

New name to follow: Antoine Thoraval. 22 yr old sprinter from France. Recently set a new PB of 6.60. That makes him 6th best French of all-time at that distance. Looks like a pocket rocket. It will be interesting to see how much he can lower his 100m PB (10.32) this season.

SF has been outplayed the last 2 games. I think a bit of luck and the home field advantage got them through. Their defense has been poor to fair, and the play calling has been average. If they play like their last 2 games, against KC, that's a win for the Chiefs.

Didn't the Lions have as many as 5 white defensive players on the field at times? Cominsky and Hutchinson on the defensive line, and Anzalone, Campbell, and Rodriguez at linebacker. Or were they never on the field all together?

I am rooting for the Niners all the way; but if the Lions win, it's not so bad. They are playing the whitest defense I have seen in years, and Goff is their offense. Unlike the 49ers, they don't have any other offensive superstars.

Here she is winning the Ohio state championships in the 100m and 200m.

Someone else to keep an eye on this year, is Maira Scott from Ohio. She ran 11.41 (0.5w) last year in the 100m, and 23.20 (0.7w) in the 200m. Like Abby Steiner she is from Ohio - about 120 miles away from where Abby went to high school - and she is approaching Abby's Ohio high school records...

He also has a best of 21.10 in the 200m and 46.77 in the 400m. A very good all around sprinter.
