Jordan Van den Berg Perfect/Historic R.A.S...But Only 3 Sacks?

Several months ago I posted about "freaky" athletic Georgia Tech defensive tackle Jordan Van den Berg. When he attended Penn State, he was merely seen as a "workout warrior". But that might not have been fair, as he had to deal with PSU's militantly anti-White, mulatto HC Ben Franklin. Could he really succeed with Ben at the helm?

The "freaky" athletic Van den Berg left for Georgia Tech where he immediately blossomed into a complete player:

Yet, despite the on-field progress and athletic testing potential, he received zero invites to all-star games. None! No Senior Bowl, ect. He also failed to receive a Combine invite. His only chance to impress was at Pro Day, where he registered a perfect R.A.S. score. This ranked 2nd out of 2270 DT's from 1987 to 2026. Yet he's mostly considered a 7th round pick or undrafted free agent



Two YouTube pundits "attempted" to explain these snubs. Both came to the same conclusion that 3 sacks as senior was not enough!

A) African American, perhaps an ex-player, is very impressed by Jordan, but states here 3 sacks might not be enough for the NFL.

B) White K.C. Chiefs DWF type does a deeper dive into Jordan 10.0 R.A.S. and concludes the NFL should ignore the athletic "freak" until round 6 or 7, due to only 3 sacks and poor overall stats?

Van den Berg had 11 TFL's last season. Clemson (same conference) defensive tackle Peter Woods recorded only 3.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks through 12 games and he could be a first round pick

Below is a list of DT's that made ESPN's and Dan Jeremiah's (NFL.com) Top 100. None had more than 3 sacks (links below) last season and some had less than 3 in their entire careers?

The excuse I get when I criticize black interior d-line players when they are not productive is that I "don't know ball", that stats do not matter for defensive linemen and their impact on the game is not measured statistically.

Van Den Berg should be a 2nd/3rd round immediate starter.

Yes, Leonardfan, it's weird how stats are completely irrelevant, but only when it comes to "upsiders"?

I guess one argument the DWF's might have is the top (black) DT's can't put up big stats because they are frequently double-teamed. Good argument, but I would assume Van den Berg was also frequently doubled or even tripled teamed?

Again, what the heck does this joker mean by "lack production"? Why are Van den Berg's stats "lacking" compared to Daniel Jeremiah's Top 100 DT's (linked in post #1)?

They seem to be creating this totally false narrative that all these black DT's are reaching double-digit (or close) sack totals each year?

Thanks Freethinker and Backrow. If there was ever a clear cut case of racial bias (via the NFL Draft) that had to be "litigated" and had a shot to win, this could be the one put forth. Will never happen, I suppose, but this is so egregiously clear cut that even a fool can say, this is weird and makes little sense?

Freethinker, I was looking at Braden Fiske's (Rams) college stats. Florida State (2023): 13 games, 43 tackles (17 solo), 9.0 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks. That's about good as it gets, stats wise, for a big time college DT. Even with that, several draft nerds/cucks/dweebs employed by notable media companies were claiming at the 2024 Senior Bowl he would be better suited to play center in the NFL. This is not a joke, several did suggest this!

Bucky put it best, if Van den Berg was named Barack Okafor from Nigeria, he'd be a slam dunk Top 10 pick. Heck, if his name was LeSeanDon Johnson (King of Queens reference), who grew up with a single mom in a U.S. ghetto he'd be a top 20 pick, at worst.

Jordan Van den Berg is a DT prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored a 10.00 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 2 out of 2270 DT from 1987 to 2026.

In case anyone is wondering who ranked 1st (ahead of VdB) in R.A.S. scoring at DT, it's current Philadelphia DT Jordan Davis, who was selected 13th overall (2022 NFL Draft).

Davis final year stats (college) included 5 TFL's and 2 sacks. Again, Van den Berg stats where 11 TFL's and 3 sacks. Given his athletic testing and stats it would be almost impossible to explain, by even the cuckiest of draft dweebs, if he goes round 6 or 7, or even undrafted.

Wile, Green Bay and Tampa Bay are two teams that have brought Jordan in for a Top 30 visit. I assume Tampa would be a much better spot than Green Bay for him, at least with the teams' current GM's track record. All things considered, I think Joe Burrow should get the heck out of Cincinnati. The days of that team being a serious contender seem to be long gone. I guess coming very close to winning a Super Bowl and having perennial playoff caliber teams with relatively White friendly rosters (by NFL standards)*** are over? They are now going back to the Marvin Lewis era, mostly all-black teams -- and coal black defenses. Thanks, in particular, to caste-cuck D.C. Al Golden-showers.

Last year, they tried to replace future Hall of Fame DE Trey Hendrickson with a first round DE (edge rushing specialist) that had 1.5 sacks in each of his 3 college seasons -- 4.5 career sacks total! Again, edge-rushing "specialist", not space-eating DT!

Now, they give up the #10 overall pick for a rapidly aging/declining DT that had 0.5 sacks total last year. This only happened because almost all their recent D-picks have been busts. Mina Kimes of ESPN always destroys the Bengals for their drafting of defensive players (all black) the last 5 years!

***This 2024 Score Football set shows how a few White defensive stars helped the Bengals. Only 3 defensive veterans earned a card; all 3 were Whites that played at a Pro Bowl or near Pro Bowl level. Might have to go back to Jared Allen, Harrison Smith and Chad Greenway to see a Topps/Score White defensive "hat trick".

How rare is this? Not sure, for example, if the Jets or Giants have had 3 White defensive players (total) earn a Topps/Score cards over the last 30 years combined? Very few defensive veterans (of any race) earn cards in modern sets, which are overloaded with black rookie cards that will eventually bust and be totally worthless.

Score 2024 loaded up the set with black rookies. Bengals 2024 six (all black) have been deemed busts thus far by DWF's and media.

I quit making draft predictions then and just go back to losing money on stock picks. Thanks for the info, all of you do great work.
