Well you know, the thinking is that Johnson will suddenly become Warren Moon. After all, he's similar size, has dark skin and is a QB. It's only a matter of time.
 
Josh Johnson still in the league, what a joke. Meanwhile Philip Rivers can literally get off the couch after not playing football for 5 years and outperform any of those second and third string retreads that are still collecting seven figure paychecks year after year.

Today is the “day of the (mediocre / lousy) black quarterback” in the “season of the black quarterback”. We get to enjoy Hurts, Johnson, Love, Willis and Williams and their abundance of “talent”. I don’t think any of these guys jump off the screen for great quarterback play. Now don’t get me wrong, Hurts usually operates successfully an offense tailored to him and Love often times looks like he belongs. However, compare to a game with Stafford, Maye, Goff, Burrow or Allen where you will see great throws all the time and a general command of the offense. These teams playing today all labor offensively with nothing coming easy in the passing game.

Love, Willis and Williams just now went over passing 300 yards -- combined! Yet Burkhardt and Brady have been carrying on all game as if it's Johnny Unitas dueling against Bart Starr
