2025 College Football Week Two

Also, is there any criticism of "potential top 10 pick" LaNorris Sellers yesterday? He was the sh1ts against a cupcake. 128 passing yards and 23 rushing yards on 8 carries. SC only put the game away with 2 punt return TDs and a fumble returned for a TD. The offense looked anemic.

The hive mind on social and sports media will never attack a black QB the way they do with White ones. It's not even conspiracy theory but a proven track record and pattern recognition for anyone capable of independent thought.

And the hive mind has already determined 3 years from now, no matter how good his performance is, Underwood will be a top10 pick

Great work as always man!

Just one to add. The other New Mexico WR transfer, Ryan Davis, was the leading receiver for #25 Utah. 6/58/1. Nice to see both him and Wysong having initial success after transferring up.
Appreciate that Freethinker! THANKS Will be sure to add Davis to the list ...i didn't get every Box Score ; things discombobulated
Still a glitch in the most user friendly NCAA website ; No WR yardage reported

Also needed to add
Brock Spalding (E Car) 3 rec 81 yards TD
Mark Hamper (Cal) 5 rec 69 yards //// Trond Grizzell 2 rec 32 yards
Easton Messer (FAU) 4 rec 62 yards

Eakin at 59 yards was my cut off this week bec of glitch ....
Didn't include ...Finn Hogan (BG) 3 rec 58 yards
Tucker Holloway (VATech) 2 rec 43 yards
Hudson Clement (WV) 2 rec 39 yards
Brett Eskildsen (Iowa St) 2 rec 39 yards

More RBs

Found this to be interesting and could explain why Manning has looked off. Wincing in pain while throwing a ball is not normal.

@TwentyTwo - What is the address of the website you use?
Check out the Whacky Texas Box Score...Manning no even the QB ; All Receivers Zero yards ; RBs incomplete etc

Got to catch the end of that UNLV victory over UCLA....Over paid Nico was a No Go with INT 4th qtr
QB Colandrea should have been the Starter in Week 0 for UNLV.

Whacky indeed! I just use BSPN for my box scores AND cfbstats if I want to get more info on players.

it’s my opinion that this isn’t on the quarterback play at all. Gronowski had multiple perfect passes dropped, the offensive line gave him loads of time to throw, and the receivers simply weren’t getting open (and when they did, see the aforementioned drops).

i have concluded that the Iowa coaching staff either A) can’t evaluate wide receivers correctly, B) can’t coach wide receivers correctly, or C) both A and B.

as evidence, i present the case of Charlie Jones. as a Hawkeye, Jones was the best return man in the Big Ten, but he had something like 20 total catches. he transfers to Purdue, and promptly becomes the most dominant wideout in the conference and one of the top receivers in the whole country. things like that don't happen if a coaching staff knows what they’re doing.
it’s nice to be validated with data.

additionally, VanderZee is out for another month (or so). the sophomore wideout was reportedly easily the best receiver coming out of camp (as well as the only Hawkeye wideout with any size), so his absence is another notable factor.
