2021 is the last year of Ertz's five-year contract, so he shouldn't be too difficult to trade, especially if he's willing to renegotiate his final year then hit the open market if he isn't resigned by the team that (hopefully) trades for him. I see Indy being a great fit, much as it was for Rivers and Wentz. With their topnotch o-line Ertz would be able to concentrate on mostly being a receiver again plus he already has great rapport with Wentz.

Their biggest question mark is at LT now with Castanzo retired. I'd love to see them draft Radunz at the end of round 1 as his replacement. Ertz really drew the ire of Crissy and Uncle Al during any Eagles games I saw last season. I wouldn't be surprised if he does get cut once the new league year starts.

Expecting a big rebound year for Ertz no matter where he ends up.

I hope Ertz isn't one of those guys who, because they wouldn't give him a new contract, decided not to play hard. guys like that sabotage themselves.

Sports Cucks and DWFs rejoice everywhere. Dak gets paid a ridiculous amount, coming off of an injury! Yet they keep saying he had all the leverage LOL. Never won a playoff game. The end of The Cowboys .

I call it the Randy Moss effect all the money in one basket. I thought for a whole minute after reading this and wondered if this huge contract is back loaded, so while the cash up front is good the real big numbers are probably not going to be realized even if he becomes Tom Brady II. Of course I'm too lazy to look so it is just a guess.

And secondly a bigger WAG on my part, America is going thru a hysteria and Dak being of a holy race I'll bet Jones said eff it no way he could win and he possibly would have made his franchise a target of the idiot "woke" mob. Better to throw the idiots a bone and down the road if there still is an NFL or America cut Dak after another mediocre season.

Correction dak has won 1 playoff game. Agreed @wile . I think this is as much about optics as earning that deal. He's a good QB, I'd maybe give him half of that so I could still build a team around him.

Big roster moves have been happening throughout the week. Just the tip of the iceberg. With every team tight on cap, and the cap expected to rise, maybe we see more short, below market 1-year "prove it" deals than normal. Or perhaps the contracts are structured to have a lower hit year one and then spread the money across later years? Either way it'll be interesting to watch.

Alex Anzalone says he feels disrespected by the Saints, who traded for Kwon Alexander to play over him; says wants to play a bigger role elsewhere. Personally I think the Bills are a good fit. Matt Milano seems to have priced himself out of their range, Anzalone is a good coverage LB, better than Milano. Hope he plays a bigger role wherever, glad he's not a Saint anymore. Dislike their DWFs and Sean Payton.

Vikings cut Riley Reiff to save cap room. Wow. Thought they'd extend him. Despite drawing the ire of DWFs in the past he was never that bad, and this past year he put together his best season so far. Should have a good market. Fortunately, they have 2nd year T Ezra Cleveland to move over from G. Hopefully they let go of awful sumo Dakota Dozier, and get two good white guards. Already have their C and RT in Bradbury and O'Neill. Vikings have probably overtaken the Patriots as CF's favorite. I could see the Colts signing him, I'd love them to keep having a snowplow since Castonzo retired. Should have plenty of suitors.

Kevin Zeitler was also cut, Giants save $10M. Good fits include the Vikings (had terrible OG play), Bills (have a need on OL, really don't want them to go sumo-heavy, would ruin an otherwise solid roster), and Bengals (his original team; Burrow better not get killed by porous sumo dominated lines). Kyle Long also announced he is coming out of retirement. Should be a solid OL market, hope our guys can stick around and the sumo trend will be stymied. I feel like OL play has dropped lately.

The Vikings have both Ezra Cleveland and Brian O'Neill. Both have high end athleticism and can play left tackle.

Bills re-sign Matt Milano to a 4 year deal.

The Chiefs cut both Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz. They were both missed when lost for injuries this past season so hopefully the Chiefs go the sumo route and Fisher ends ups blocking the blind side for a white QB.

good for Milano! From what I read many were predicting his asking price would be too much for Buffalo..Glad he's staying.

Also interesting that The Chief's stellar OL is taking a hit.

Very hopeful that Tanner Muse finds himself starting next year for The Raiders. I'd move Ferrell inside to DT and slide Nassib in as a starter at Edge and go with Heath at SS. Along with Kwiatkowski and Mad Maxx we need The Raiders to really emerge

On offense Raiders will be down 3 starters from their OL. There are rumors Kyle Long may be interested in signing there. If he does Raiders nailed down 1 starter and have a chance to turn to the Draft for a deep OL Class of Lunchpailers for a RT and LG.. Banks or Eichenberg(ND), Christiansen(BYU) Van Lanen(Wis), Landon Jackson (Ken), etc.

Could NEVER get behind the Raiders thanks to their 4/5 sumo OL last year (Incognito only started 2 games before going down to injury), despite the defensive guys.
Also BTW, Banks from ND is Black, the only Black OL from last year. Are you thinking of Robert Hainsey (nderrated tackle who can also play G and C), or Tommy Kraemer (G/C)? The fifth OL I believe is returning to school. Could potentially be 4/5 white, though a sumo center is a HUGE deal breaker. Rodney Hudson has been overrated. Admittedly he isn't that bad, but as stated I think the snapping and line calls should be left to our guys.

Very happy for Matt Milano! Well deserved, great fit for Buffalo, and actually loved by Bills fans (probably one of the better fanbases in the league). Worth noting that Sean McDermott loved White LB's in Carolina, and it went beyond Keuchly- he had Luke Keuchly, AJ Klein, David Mayo, and Ben Jacobs all on the roster at one point- 4/5 (all except Thomas Davis). Ideally, Milano plays the Thomas Davis role, AJ Klein resumes his old role, Matakevich is the WSTD a la Ben Jacobs, and then sprinkle in a little David Mayo (impending FA) as a reliever. Tremaine Edmonds is entrenched as the MIKE, but he has a missed tackle problem, and believe it or not the Bills fans actually seem to blame him more than Milano. Paddy Fisher would be a good fit if they move on from Edmonds. He may not be Kuechly, but he received comps to him early on at Northwestern. Despite being less athletic than Luke, the tape says it all.

I'd put Cleveland at LT, I think that's what their intent was. He had great combine numbers, and played well at RG but tackle is seen as a better fit. Could easily be the best tackle from the overhyped class when all is said and done. As for O'Neill, he's been a great RT and has improved each season, so no need to change what's working.
Vikings do have a big guard problem. Could address it via the draft, or FA. Kevin Zeitler and Forrest Lamp would be great. Hope Brett Jones stays there, elite backup, probably a plus starter too. Even if the line isn't 5/5, 4/5 with C and both tackles will do for me (especially with that roster). I wish Reiff well, still has some good ball left. He and Fisher should see some of the same suitors.

Mitchell Schwartz would be great for either the Bengals (I repeat, you CANNOT let Burrow get killed), or Bills (their sumo RT is an impending FA, and is very upgradeable).

Rumor has it the Colts are calling the Niners about McGlinchey. Excellent! Despite being clearly caste on defense and thus not popular here, I enjoyed watching and rooting for them because of the O-line. McGlinchey back next to Nelson would be awesome. Hopefully their (late-ish) 2nd does the trick, that would be great.

Thanks for the correction @Snowplow was thinking of Hainsey. Kraemer is an NFL guy too! Meinerz and Spencer Brown also seemed to have made themselves some $! Awesome to see them along with Radunz and Himmelman getting buzz as small school OL.

Agreed though. I'd love to see The Raiders lighten up a bit there. We'll see what their philosophy is up front with how they handle this off-season. Sumo Centric still or Snowplow.

Also interesting background on McDermott friendliness to Snow Patrol's!

There is definitely some top level OL talent out there. Where do you see Linsley ending up @Snowplow ?!

I'd say Chargers. They have a need at C with Feeney being an impending FA. Jets could make a run as well, but he may not want the uncertainty at QB. Bengals are also a dark horse team. They have cap room, Burrow coming back, and with overrated sumo Hopkins hurt, and Billy Price not quite living up to expectations (hope he can still turn it around, though, he may need a change in scenery). It's his home state too. But if I were to bet it would be the Chargers. While most are focusing elsewhere, I'm really looking forward to the O-line carousel. Maybe I'll make a thread about that? Lots of talent in the draft and FA, indeed.

I'm leaning towards BB being senile. Pats just resigned SCAM lol. 14 mil after throwing 8TDs last season with 30th ranked QBR in The League. Muh Oppression.

Falcons restructured LT Jake Matthews’ deal. Makes him all but untradeable for two more years. Unsurprisingly, DWFs want a sumo instead of him, of course but now he’s safe. Actually really like the Falcons (I know, they’re not that great from a CF perspective but have a solid O-line and had been better in the past- 2019 and 2020 were the first years EVER they had no whites starting on defense :,( ), but if Ryan is replaced with a quota as the DWFs are gushing for then I’m done and switching to either the Bills, Browns, or Vikings. I really want Matt to win a ring to shut up the haters. BTW, the treatment of Paul Worrilow is what woke me up to the caste system.
Hopefully McGary and Hennessy continue develop, and Dan Feeney would be a good FA to play LG. Or if Ben Kline comes out of semi-retirement to reunite with Arthur Smith. But as I said even if not 5/5, then 4/5 with both tackles and the center is good enough.

In other news, BJ Finney is expected to return to PIT to compete for the starting C role. Signed with SEA and unsurprisingly did nothing. Traded to CIN and played only 4 snaps (on ST) before going on the COVID and IR lists. Then t hey cut him even though they have the absolute WORST OL group. Hoping for the best for him.

Just saw that Tim Boyle will become a UFA moving up the bust to be Jordan Love to 2nd string behind Rodgers. Gotta keep the black QBs flowing into the league.

Newton's deal turns out to be much closer to that of a backup:

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports Cam Newton's one-year contract with the Patriots includes $5 million in base value.
It's vastly different language from the initial report that stated Newton had re-signed for $14 million. He'll receive a $2 million signing bonus and $1.5 million in guaranteed money and per-game bonuses, but the remaining $9 million will have to be accrued via longshot incentives for the playoffs, Pro Bowl, All-Pro, MVP, Super Bowl MVP, etc. The Patriots still have the third-most cap space ($68.64 million) in the NFL and will likely look to address its offense with a majority of that number, quarterback included.
