CMC with a TD. Not averaging well as either a runner or receiver, but I’d imagine that will change for the better as the game goes on.

My one fault with Purdy so far is his locking on Evans at the expense of open McCaffrey.

McCaffrey hasn't played a single snap as a wide receiver yet this season and has been a healthy scratch for some games, that's why I wrote "lol." It'll take a Hillis Curse type of cascading injuries among their receiving group, which sucks after McLaurin, for Luke to get on the field other than as a kick returner.
 
I thought I saw McCaffrey lined up at receiver. Must’ve been some lightskin who looked white or a tight end.
 
Redskins are playing TEs out wide rather than play Luke, who is likely the best WR in the roster. He needs out of DC.

Yes, and so unskilled it’s a wonder he didn’t go undrafted versus the last pick…

Year after year, one of our “non-athletic, stiff and talentless” players somehow gets an opportunity and proves every scout, coach and GM laughably wrong…

And yet no one questions the narrative.
 
First round megabust Treylon Burks was getting starter's snaps the past two games even before tonight's injury to McLauren. He has 66 career receptions in six NFL seasons, half of them in his rookie year. Yet he's in there, still trying to reach his amazing upside, over a young uber-talented and smart athlete like Luke.
 
Insanely frustrating. 49ers continue to rack up injuries at an alarming rate. Evans out with an Achilles injury. CMC the recipient of 3-4 yard receptions.

The Redskins look really bad, just a pathetic team. Have to wonder if Quinn gets fired if this turns into a blow out. Would be great if the 49ers traded for Luke with Evans probably out for several games and a bunch of no names on the roster. A pipe dream I know.

49ers are one of the only teams that don't have the majority of their playbook looking like the rest of the league. The Shanahan offense is actually enjoyable to watch.
