Steelers at the Browns. Lots of Whites on the Steelers by NFL standards. They're up to 7 White starters with Brock Hoffman taking over from a sumo at RG. The interior of the o-line is White now, with sumos still starting at tackle as the team drafts one just about every year, and just about every year they are a major bust.

Eli Heidenreich is a healthy scratch for the second straight game. Aaron Rodgers looked good last week as his protection was much improved.

On the Blacks, er Browns, DT Mason Graham has been the best at his position in the league through three games, and MLB Carson Schwesinger came out of the gate last year as a tackling machine in his rookie season. And that sums up the only players of interest on Cleveland, hopefully this pathetic franchise will provide some laughs in this one though they usually play Pittsburgh tough at home.

Trio of Cole Holcomb, Payton Wilson, and Jack Sawyer making the tackle on the kickoff. Seeing such great players get limited snaps and beating up their bodies on special teams is rough. Wasting their primes taking special teams snaps when they should be starters on almost every team.

Browns surprisingly begin the game with two overachievers starting on the o-line who are listed as backups on their current depth chart -- center Luke Wypler and RG Austin Barber.

Patrick queen, who is starting over Payton Wilson despite being less productive in every way, misses a tackle play before then gets dominantly blocked by a WR and can’t make the play on the TD run.

Queen doesn't start over Wilson, they're both starting inside linebackers. Queen is on the field every play, while Wilson started off the season the same way but had his snaps reduced to 78% and 70% the past two games and I've seen Holcomb in his spot already some in this game.

Steelers get the ball back to start the 2nd. Crucial drive coming out of halftime! Looks like Rodgers is gelling with Wilson. Haven’t seen much of Skowronek yet!

Too bad McCarthy couldn’t have nabbed Luepke for a bag of peanuts in that Joey Porter Jr. trade. He would have been nice in a Jon Kuhn role for Pitt.

I was told it looked awful and clearly season ending… is that true? I missed it
He walked to the locker room, not easily but it didn't look season ending to me.

Shipley and McConkey both have some kind of foot injury and of course McConkey is just getting over his rib injury. Neither has practiced yet this week, whether they do or don't tomorrow will likely determine if they play this weekend. The Chargers really need McConkey if they're going to turn their season around.
