2026 Track Results

The World Athletics Challenge in Hungary is this weekend. I looked at the mens 100 meters.

Sam Blaskowski is not entered in the mens 100 meters.

Lachlan Kennedy will be there. Because every sprinter here is incredible the chances for very fast times are there. It's just a matter
of the conditions and how much energy these guys have left at the very end of the long season. Kennedy still has the 6th
fastest time in the world as of today. Noah Lyles is 1st with his 9.79. Not sure if Lachie has the energy left but it would be epic
if he beat everyone here and ended the 2026 season as the fastest male sprinter in the world with a 9.78. I can dream can't I?

pretty sad when your own sports federation works against you.
yep. Zoe Hobbs will never be the world's fastest woman but I'm really glad to have witnessed her as a sprinter. The NZ record was 11.32 from 1993 and Zoe's now done 4 sub 11s and an 11.00 to drag it up from the stone age.
Gorgeous lady and not one ounce a show off.

I see Simon Wulff of Germany ran a 10.14 to win the B race in Italy today. I was looking up the stats on this guy. He has a PB of 10.06 and stands 6'-7" and weighs 235 lbs. He's a bobsledder on their Olympic team. Damn, he'd make one hell of tight end in the NFL.

What's even crazier about this very fast time is that was his only 100 meters race in 2026. He runs a 10.14 like a jog in the park. In 2025
he didn't race the 100 meters at all. In 2024 he raced the 100 meters once and ran a 10.06! So tell me why this guy is stuck in the
bobsled event when he deserves to be running track? Maybe if he ran on a regular basis he would have already went sub 10!
