I think she is around 5'6" or 5'7" so she is okay height wise and she definitely has speed for days and endurance for days, with Bol doing the 800m now it opens the door in Europe in my opinion. It would be very interesting to see how she could do.

I see the Slovakian lady Zapletalova ran a nice 52.90 to win the Euros yesterday.
She has a 52.30PB so a very good competitor for Jaeger if she tried 400H

I see that 5 women into the finals of the 400m just ran sub 50 in the semis - should be a wonderful race

Amy slowed up right before the finish line. Was that because she was completely gassed, or because she knew she was going to win? Looked to me like the race was too close to let up but sprinters deal in hundredths of seconds and my guess is that she knew she had the win in the bag.

Man I love seeing White sprinters winning races and just competing at the highest levels and we have more world class ones now, both men and women, than has been the case for quite a while.

Yeah I noticed that too. She seemed to start rolling a bit at the end. Possibly feeling the pressure from Asher-Smith in the lane next to her; Amy overtook her on the home straight as expected but Asher-Smith didn't give up and kept coming. Possibly a bit of fatigue after the 100m. Possibly she knew she had it, but even so in a big final you'd want to get the best time.

Anyway, the win is what matters. 22.18 slowing up at the end suggests that a sub-22 time is not far off. Really hope she can stay fit for the world champs and Olympics over the next two years.
