2026 Track Results

Henrik Larsson won the Swedish National Championships running a time of 10.26 +0.9

This is a great time as it was only his 3rd race this year after missing a whole year of track. Congrats and I hope to see
him in peak form come the European Championships in August.
 
At the 2026 German National Championships we had a few of our guys look good.

In the Mens 100 Meters Finals our guys took the silver & bronze medal. Heiko Gussmann ran a new p.b. of 10.06 +0.7! He is built alot
like Lachlan Kennedy although not as strong. He is short but still powerful with alot of upside. Heiko Gussmann is only 22 years of age
and this qualifies him for the European Championships in August. A great breakthrough for this young rising star.

Taking the bronze medal was Kevin Kranz in a time of 10.16!

That is a wonderful time for Frey, she has fantastic sprint form and is wonderful to watch. On the other hand Del Ponte has digressed alot since her injury a few years back, hopefully she can get back to at least where she was pre injury. I think with the right competition and conditions Frey can go sub 10.90.
 
Miltos Tentoglou equaled the Greek National Record with a jump of 8.66m!!
Also a World Leading jump and a PB.
Hard to believe that he didn't already have the Greek NR.

This historic long jump ties M. Tentoglou with the legendary Louis Tsatoumas as the 13th longest jump in the history of athletics!
4 of the Top 13 All Time Greatest Jumps are from men of European Descent. Almost 1 out of 3 All Time. White Long Jumpers
this year still have the top 3 longest jumps of 2026.

17 year old high schooler, Cooper Lutkenhaus, won the USATF 800m title easily in 1:43.48.
That was his last race of the season. He lost only one race all year, indoors and outdoors.

At the 2026 Russian National Championships, Nikolay Grudkovskiy won the gold medal in a time of 10.16 +0.3. The two russian
sprinters in 2nd and 3rd were not close as the teen sensation N. Grudkovskiy was never pushed.

It's sad though as Konstantin Krylov didn't run. Not sure why? If both these guys go against each other we could see some real fireworks. Krylov is 22 and Grudkovskiy is only 19. I hope they inspire some of the other Russian Sprinters to step up their level of performance.

In the 2026 Commonwealth Games we saw both Elliot Jones and Rohan Browning both make the Semi Finals in the Mens 100 Meters. Lachlan Kennedy along with 7 of the other favorites got to skip the opening round.

The Mens 100 Meters Semifinals will be on July 28th along with the Finals later that night. Good luck to all 3 of these sprinters!

Lachlan Kennedy is gonna be busy doing the 100, 200 and 4 x 100 Meters Relay. Good luck to him!

And great to see elliot jones run 10.07 for england ..obviously kennedy is the guy who should not only medal but has to be a favourite for commonwealth gold ...

what a start to the sprints proper - Kennedy was worth getting up at 4am for. 9.94 to finish second in his semi - ZERO wind and light rain. Browning didn't go through but ran very well to record a still wind 10.14 for a season best.
The other Australian , Nketia ran a PB 10.03 also joins Kennedy in the final - if we get the changes right there'll be a good rely team there

Torrie Lewis (11.00 PB) and Audrey LeDuc (11.01) ran away with women's semifinal 1
Amy Hunt (11.02) and Zoe Hobbs (11.04) in semi final 3
What a mix -these 4 women were the fastest qualifiers for the final and they all ran in heavy rain

I missed it live but following it on the live stats. Can't wait to see the race. He is in the form of his life! His 3rd sub 10 this year.
What's even more impressive is that he had to peak twice which as we know is very hard to do! Legend of Aussie Sprinting!

He still hasn't taken down the All Time Australian Record. No disrespect to Patrick Johnson but Lachlan Kennedy has to break this
record as no male sprinter in Australian History has ever had half the talent of Lachie! Hope he can break it in the final and medal.
It would be amazing to see him win the gold but it's a stacked field. A medal would still be great. Hope the rain stops.

I remember back in the day Allan Wells was the king of the Commonwealth games as he was the dominant sprinter in 2 games but these were the days of (sh)amateur athletics and most of the top Commonwealth sprinters showed up for the meets. I recall him dueling with young but still doped Ben Johnson and his dead heat gold sharing 200m race with Mike Mcfarland.

Kennedy could be the first White medalist on the men's side since around this era in the 100m dash but maybe I missed somebody...

Yes sir. I like to watch old clips and documentaries about Allan Wells, Valeriy Borzov and others. Allan Wells was a legend and still is
to this day. He had a really unusual training routine that worked great including boxing.

It's sad that Lachie had to run in the rain and with no wind or the Aussie Record would have already been broken. Lachlan Kennedy is
in shape to run in the high 9.80's. Can you imagine the reaction of the world if 2 white sprinters run in the 9.80's this summer. Sam Blaskowski already ran 9.89 along with his 19.93! Let's go Lachlan Kennedy! I really would love to see him get closer to the 20 second
barrier in the 200 meters if his body holds up at the end of a long season!

Despite Rohan Browning not making the finals today he ran a seasons p.b. of 10.14 in poor weather. He is almost 30 years old and has had
a really fine career. Hope he runs a few more races in Europe to try and get that elusive sub 10 he has been so close to getting for years!
 
Like WL said above, not to take anything away from Johnson but he was really a low 10 guy who had a one off sub 10 run. His second best wind legal run was 10.07. Kennedy is a whole different beast. He has multiple sub 10’s and many 10.0x’s. He will for sure go below 9.93.
