Tennessee Titans General Thread

Cheering for Levis !

Arden Key suspended for 6 games. Unfortunately no overachievers will benefit.

LB Tanner Muse was signed to the Titans practice squad today. Better to be cut an resigned to the PS than to just be on the street.

Good for Lynch hope he can get his career back on track

Apparently a noose was found at the construction site for the Titans new stadium. They are all in a tizzy.

Can’t wait for it to be found out to be just another rope designed to pull material up levels. I’ve seen this one before.

LOL. Another hoax.

No real loss with Levis out for the year. He would have been released after the 2025 season. His lingering shoulder injury throughout last season provides an explanation as to why he struggled. It's a pretty good example of why running the ball and seeking out impact as a QB is not a wise move.

Hope Levis is able to bounce back from shoulder surgery and land somewhere decent as a free agent next offseason. The Titans will be putrid and I will actively root against them.

Some updates at the TE position in Tennessee. Rookie Gunnar Helm, who was excellent during his time at Texas, is already pushing the incumbent starter. Good sign! Josh Whyle, who had some hype coming out of Cincinnati a few years back, not so much. Hoping he makes the roster as well as the writer alludes to.

More proof, as if more was needed, that Brian Daboll isn't very bright:

Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll said Cam Ward was a “big factor” in taking the Titans’ offensive coordinator job. Daboll praised both Ward’s athleticism and accuracy when discussing the second-year passer. Ward occasionally flashed big-play potential as a rookie, but he spent most of his debut campaign missing passes and taking sacks. Defenses took him down behind the line of scrimmage a league-high 55 times. He completed just shy of 60 percent of his passes. Daboll has had success with young quarterbacks in the past. He coaxed a playoff berth out of Daniel Jones in 2022 and oversaw a handful of solid performances from Jaxson Dart in 2025 before the Giants canned him. Daboll has a tall order ahead of him, but quarterback has become a late-bloomer position in recent years, with Caleb Williams serving as the poster child for a post-rookie rebound. Titans fans will be hoping for a similar turnaround from Ward.

No chance Tennessee is good this year. Saleh and Daboll are both terrible with huge egos. Cam Ward was awful his rookie year. ESPN has Tennessee as a great landing spot for Alec Pierce. That would be career suicide.

Lol, Daboll's "success" with young QBs. Daniel Jones managed to get the woeful Giants to the playoffs in spite of Daboll, not because of him. Same with his "success" with Jaxson Dart. It was all Dart trying to keep the ship afloat as Daboll was drilling holes in the hull. It's similar to Mitch Trubiski in Chicago with Rodent Nagy. Nagy is given credit for getting the Bears to the playoffs with the horrible, dreadful BUST Trubiski, but it was the other way around.

The “big factor” in Daboll taking the job was his unemployment, and the likelihood that no other NFL team would hire him.
