2025 NFL Week 15

Damnit sills just dropped what would’ve been a wide open long Td. Probably cut after this game

Sills big catch on 4th and long!!

Edit to add: so I didn’t see the drop earlier but I’d have to imagine that this was redemption. The catch prolonged the drive and the Falcons kick the winning FG shortly after. 6 catches for 78 yards is easily his best game as a pro. Hopefully he continues to establish himself in the final stretch of games.

Kenny Pickett named the starter, but Plantation Pete was quick to add that Geno will be back starting the following week. Words cannot accurately describe what a Caste Hound Carroll is so I won't bother. Pickett will be playing against one of the league's best defenses, so here's hoping he makes a good showing. He looked Jack Bech's way often after he came off the bench last week, and Brock Bowers has also been underused this season after his record shattering rookie year:

Raiders coach Pete Carroll said Kenny Pickett will start Las Vegas’ Week 15 game against the Eagles. Pickett may only be getting a one week audition here, as Carroll said that Geno Smith “will be back” against the Texans in Week 16. Against the Eagles’ stellar pass defense, Pickett is best approached as a QB3 in superflex leagues and even an optimistic view can’t see him as better than a low-end QB2 with almost nothing around him beyond Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty. It’s just not an ideal situation, even if he did look decent in relief of Smith in Week 14.

The Bucs were favorites all year in the NFC South. Arguably the weakest conference in the NFL and have fallen to 7-7. Bowles pretty much blames the players in his press conference. Raheem's dream team bailed out by Whitey at QB. Sherrone Moore losing the Michigan job and having a meltdown over his affair. Bad day for black coaches lol.

So TJ Watt is out for a collapsed lung that occurred due to a dry needling session at the Steelers’ facility.

You can’t make this **** up.

Same **** happened to Tyrod Taylor (might have been a different type of injection) with the Chargers and opened the door to Justin Herbert starting. Hard to believe Taylor was starting over Herbert.

The silver lining is that Nick Herbig will replace Watt and play a full-time role after playing 39% and 34% of snaps the past two games, while rookie Jack Sawyer should see a big bump in his playing time as Herbig's replacement as the number three pass rusher.

There's some really interesting games to look forward to tomorrow as regards the quarterback position. Philip Rivers will be starting for the Colts, his first game action since 2020. Indy's snowplow o-line will need to be at its best as the Seahawks will undoubtedly be trying to hit Rivers early and often.

Kenny Pickett finally gets a start over in Pete's Plantation. It took an injury to an over the hill Geno Smith who has been putrid this season and it may only last one game given Chompin' Pete's longstanding anti-White predilections. So hopefully Kenny does well against the Eagles.

Speaking of the Eagles, I read a local piece here in Pittsburgh that says the Philly DWFs on talk radio there are calling for Jalen Hurts to be benched. Can anyone from that area verify it? Considering Philly's talent at RB, WR and the o-line, the offense has been bad all season. Troy Aikman pointed out during the Eagles' loss to the Chargers last Monday that Hurts was repeatedly missing wide open receivers in the slot area because he didn't follow his progressions and quickly either ran or threw a low percentage pass downfield or just threw it away rather than checking down. That could well be the reason A. J. Brown has such open disdain for Hurts.

February 2025 Super Bowl MVP December 2025 trade bait rumors WTF? The trade crap comes from Yahoo "news" so yeah.

Curious to see how Rivers fares today and what he has left in his arm. Hopefully, he gets a few long balls to Pierce. Rooting for Pickett to lead the upset of the Eagles which would be great. With a good showing Pickett should be sought after in free agency. Wigger Pete has stated he will go back to Geno Smith next week. Watching the Eagles struggle due to their $255 million dollar QB is a fun hate watch.

In the late windows I will be rooting heavily for the Saints. Shough has shown more potential in his few starts this year than Young has in his 3 year career to date. With the Bucs losing terribly on Thursday night the awful Panthers have a chance to move into first place in the NFC South. Hopefully the Saints can stop that.

The Jalen Hurts train wreck is indicative of why stats do not tell the whole tale. He has a very good TD-INT percentage and, if one were to just look at stats, would think he was pretty darn good.

But stats don’t tell everything. He hamstrings that offense and vultures TDs from the running backs. He struggles with his progressions, not to mention reading.
