2025 NFL Week 12

Yeah Gave up 8 sacks.. A few of those were on Allen. I agree his WRs are below average but tuck it and run, or throw it away. That 18 yard sack he took was egregious!

Houston is rated number one overall in Defense and it showed. One of the rare all upsider units to live up to its hype. Starts with 2 good pass rushers on each side.

That defense was very impressive. I heard during the broadcast that Ryans handed over play calling responsibility to the d-coordinator this year - Matt Burke. One of the best defensive displays I have seen this year. Agree with Don’s points on the Bills OL not doing much to protect Allen. The poor play calling and adjustments during the game was pretty bad.

I really do hope that Mills gets a starting shot somewhere. The Texans teams he started for stunk. Here he is at 27 playing very well. Texans of course got their savior at QB so Mills was caste aside and now he steps up and gets 3 wins for the team. A qb we have not talked about this year due to injury - Will
Levis has had an eerily similar career path to this point as well. Drafted by a team that scapegoated him as the problem after a year or so and then bring in their new franchise savior Qb but in the Titans case it’s very obvious Levis was not the issue.

Davis Mills has been really good for the Texans in Shroud's absence. My impression is that he will get a starting shot again with either the Texans or someplace else. He is often characterized as an immobile QB ; however, he has persevered through an unfortunate history of injuries (high school & college). Despite this he had a really good showing at his Stanford Pro Day and his 40 was timed in high 4.5's, 4.6's.

There is no reason that Mills can't at least be a stopgap starter for a team for a season or two, kind of similar to Ryan Fitzpatrick's career. I would much rather have Mills behind center than some of the current stopgap options, like Justin Fields lol. Maybe Mills passing numbers don't jump off of the page, but he has won all 3 of his starts on a team that was previously 3-5 before Stroud got injured.

That was a loss for the Chiefs as well. They’re behind the Bills and Texans in the wildcard race. And already lost the tiebreaker to the Bills. They will face the Texans later this season at Arrowhead.

Another positive!

Also Mills being 3-0 is a nice mid season storyline.

The Buffalo pass protection was also awful last night, a sieve. Allen didn't have a chance to throw or run as he was constantly under instant pressure. Add that to a laughingly bad group of receivers and it's a recipe for never getting to the Super Bowl much less winning it.
The Bills starting right tackle was a turnstile due to a busted wing but the Bills should have made an adjustment with a big back or tight end chip blocking Will Anderson who looked like Superman in a Lawrence Taylor type roll.

For all of the benefits of an empty backfield helping open up the offense it creates glaring pass protection problems on obvious passing downs.

This looks like another lost season for Buffalo and the Allen prime window is shrinking another year.

Aaron Rodgers pushed hard to play today with his left wrist fracture but will be inactive. Mason Rudolph will start with Will Howard as the backup.

Rooting for Mason! Offense looked good with him under center last week after Rodgers left with injury. Hope the Steelers tee off on Williams today.

Local FOX station has the Pack vs Vikings, ugh I guess I will watch and not care an iota if the Vikes win over my long time team that The Cuck is destroying.

McCarthy needs it!

Green Bay starting RB played ball at D2.. He’s an okay back, decent vision and 4.6 speed.

UDFA Patrick O’Connell starting today for the injured Earnest Jones for Seattle. Opening drive the Montana alum has 3 tackles (1 for an loss) and a sack already.
