2025 NFL Week 3

Seeing Daniel Jones revival in Indy makes me feel that much more hesitant about Dart playing under Daboll with New York.

He’s another of these anointed “offensive gurus” who’s been anything but. People in New York recall Adam Gase being labeled as such while overseeing some truly putrid offenses when he coached the Jets.

Marino was in a different league altogether than everyone else. 245 TDs before the age of 30 in the era he played. And the best Mahomes can do is 247 in the easiest offensive era.

Agreed. Every Mahomes stat in that graphic needs an asterisk. The current NFL is akin to the steroid/juiced ball era of the MLB.

Very good point. Jones has looked positively elite in Indianapolis. Having a good line helps. Look at the holes Taylor gets to run through (not taking away from him as he is very, very good - but huge holes).
 
Skattebo with over 100 yards from scrimmage so far! About 50 rushing and 50 receiving. An all-around threat just like McCaffrey and Shipley.
 
Russell Wilson with the sneak looks like a deer in the headlights. The crowd & everyone wants to see Dart and not just for a gadget play
or two.

Russell Wilson needs to figure out how to get the ball to Malik Nabors...way too late to be getting his 1st catch!
This opens up the field more for the Scat Attack from Skattebo !

Well I now know how tall Wilson is, 5' 9.5. Skattebo was measured at 5' 9.5 at the NFL combine. When Wilson is in the huddle with Skattebo, they are the same height.
I believe there was controversy or concern over Wilson's height when he came into the league. Wilson is listed at 5'11.

Most NFL players have frauded heights. Mahomes is claimed to be 6'2 but in reality he's closer to 6'1.

The fact that he is playing as the featured running back, is about as good as it gets.
Plus NYC is a big media market. So I don't think you can ask for more in today's NFL.

It doesn’t matter. Height is the least important physical trait. Means next to nothing. No difference in someone 6’1 or 6’3”. Same as someone 5’9” or 5’11”.

Or is right up there with the dogging of whites for an arm length an inch shorter.
