2025 Track Results

Rohan Browning ran 10.16 (1.7w) at another meet in France today.

At least he is racing more than most of our sprinters. I think many guys are holding back on purpose as to when they will peak. With the Olympics and European Championships ususally earlier in the summer. The World Athletics Championships are not till Mid September so
pacing yourself over the long summer is a good idea. Hope Browning takes some time off as we still have well over 2 months until the
world champs starts.

Yeah I agree. Browning is a very good high level sprinter. I hope there is something that he can find with training or form or anything to at least get one sub 10. Being so close has to eat a sprinter up.

Peyton Bair is the NCAA Champion of the Decathlon.
He set a new PB with an overall score of 8323. That's a collegiate leading time, and the 10th best score in the world so far this year.

Hopefully his performance inspires his little brother Gaitlin, to get back to the track.
Peyton is transferring to Oregon for his senior season. He will be joining his brother Gatlin, who starts his collegiate football career in 2026.
I hope Peyton can get his brother to run track.

Towa Uzawa of Japan won the Japanese Championships Men's 200 final in 20.12, equaling his PB from the Asian Championships.

Coby Hilton wins the race in 10.30. Seems he may have had a slight hamstring pull afterwards.
Meanwhile Jack Hale raced in Spain and came 5th in 10.45.

both very slow times. I hope his hamstring isn't serious as they are not fun. If Hale has once again digressed to a 10.45 (unless running into a -6w with a torrential downpour going on) maybe its time to hang up the spikes.

Yeah I can’t imagine there’s much money in running professionally if you’re a 10.2 guy. Unfortunately Hale never really blossomed as we had hoped, but that’s ok that’s how sprinting works. Will have to wait and see how Hilton does going forward, but 10.3’s aren’t going to get it done. Hopefully if it’s a hamstring it’s not too serious.

Coby Hilton reminds me of Morne Nagel. Great 60 meters sprinter but not the best 100 meters guy. That's ok though. He is chasing his dream and I respect that. I always hope to be proven wrong. I think he is also similar to Richard Kilty but not as powerful.

Jack Hale was just a guy that peaked as a teenager. Similar to Kristoffer Hari. Many white & black sprinters peak as teenagers. I'm hoping
this doesn't always happen to Marek Zakrzewski. He is only 20 years of age though so it's way too early to give up on him. I think he must
have had a serious injury as he skipped indoors and then has been running in neutral or reverse outdoors only a few times.

Natural sprinters don't last very long. Their bodies burn out. The guys who are willing to make a deal with the devil and take PEDs can take on the heavy training loads year after year and obtain great improvements. The short sprints are totally explosive events. They have many of the same biomechanic elements as powerlifting, or weightlifting. Hilton looks natural. He just can't compete.

This new Kishane guy from Jamaica looks like a bodybuilder. I mean, I know I'm preaching to the choir, but what if our guys had no scruples and went Jamaican. What kind of times would they put up?

the Jamaicans have a long history with steroid use. To be fair a ton of guys are using but Thompson is a rather obvious example. Gatlin is one of the most cooked cases in history. Runs really fast, gets busted and banned for a couple years. Comes back even faster but is now clean…..lol

Trey Cunningham won the Monaco Diamond League 110-meter hurdles today in 13.09. He is very consistent.

Josh Hoey managed a new PB of 1:42.01 to place 2nd in the men's 800 meters.
