It would make sense to stack similar backs. Heck the Ravens do it with QBs. They have 3 black quarterbacks in the Lamar Jackson mode so that if and when he’s hurt, the next guys up all fill in seamlessly.

The 49ers should do the same and stack White running backs with a similar skill set. ;)

This would make too sense and the players would revolt. We must hold whites down where they belong. Borghi has NFL Talent without
a doubt. Just another of countless tragedies of guys who never got a fair shot. If my memory is correct, he had 1 carry in 1 game and
that was it. What a joke!

So McCaffrey snubbed for the Pro Bowl again… this despite being top 3 in yards from scrimmage and San Fran rattling off 7 wins in a row on his back.

Normally I wouldn’t care, but these things have merit with HOF voters.

McCaffrey with 46 yards today is now 27 yards from 1,000. Hopefully he can get it next week.
I wish he could have done it today and rest him next week for the playoffs. I would be very upset if they didn't let him get the 1000 yard
season as this is his legacy. Oh so close.

There are two more games. My guess is he plays in both. Next week the full game as they are vying for seeding; the last week he just maybe play a half.

Have the niners lost a game since McCaffery came on board ? I think they have won 8 straight. CMC I think has played in 8 or 9 games

I think McCaffrey runs a for around 120 and catches passes for 50 yards. He will bust a long 40-50 yard run today. I predict one rushing and one receiving TD.

They will be playing for home field advantage in the playoff versus Philly next week… I would anticipate CMC getting another 15 rushes and 5+ receptions. I think he closes out with another 100 yard game. He is just warming up!

With one game to go in the 2022 NFL Regular Season Christian McCaffrey has 1094 yards which is good for 9th in the NFL
in Rushing Yards! It's great to see Cmac back in the Top Ten where he belongs. He has been moving up every week ever since
the trade. He had 1 or 2 mediocre games and then has been on fire since.

With 72 yards receiving yesterday, McCaffrey also is still the only RB in NFL history to average 50 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving per game. He was right on 50 exactly before yesterday's game. He is at 50.29 as of now. Don't know if he can maintain this over his career, but it's nice that he's alone in that category for now.

I'm not trying to play negative Nancy here but I think sports fans myself included get to caught up in stats. What if an NFL rb ran for 99 yards all 17 games in a season. Well he never was a hundred yard rusher so he was never really that good. Is a 4 60 forty that much slower than a 4.59 but we all look back and say one is a 4.5 guy and the other only ran 4.6. If an NBA player of the course o a 10 year career averages double figures in rebounds and points but only 9.6 assists a game is he any less than someone who could ever accomplish 10 1 assists ? MCcaffery is a once in a generation talent. All I really care is if he plays well and helps his team win. Period.

Yes, if he plays well and helps his team win, the stats will take care of themselves. CMac's run with a swing pass breaking through several tacklers to set up the game winning field goal was a perfect example.

Seems like you're contradicting yourself. Your first comment is that you're included in getting caught up in stats. Then at the end you say all you care about is if he, McCaffrey plays well and helps his team win. Period.
The last comment is- all that really matters, however white players can't get by with just playing well and helping the team win. There have been a lot of Black RB's that rush for a whole lot let us than 100 yards and average ypc of less than 2-3 yards, and run 4.6+ 40, but that doesn't matter in today's NFL. A white player in most cases has to be a once in a generation talent to get a chance at the skill positions, with the exception of QB, but even that position is being threatened. How many white RB's could have easily rushed for 99 yards or less and helped their team win, but they don't get the chance. Mentioning the stat that McCaffrey is the only RB in NFL history to average 50 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving cements this fact. That's why it is important in this case.

He has also passed some pretty good white TE's, Novacek, Ditka, and Cooley, and a good white WR in Chris Collinsworth on the receptions list. He currently has 431 career receptions. Next up, Eric Decker 439, the great TE Todd Christiansen, 461, WR Pat Tilley, 468, TE Owen Daniels 479. He could also pass his father Ed McCaffrey, 565 receptions in the next 2 years. Pretty amazing considering he's played the equivalent of about 4 and half years. Cooper Kupp sits at 508 receptions.
Updating the CMac all time lists watch he has passed Hubbard, Hoernschemeyer, Matte and Alex Webster(who probably would be a hall of fame running back if he didn't have a pitstop in the CFL). He may not pass Donny Anderson this season as he may be shutdown next week due to playoff scenarios that don't favor a 49er win. He also has entered the all time yards from scrimmage list and is ahead of most his contemporaries while missing a season and half due to the injury bug.

McCaffrey dealing with a mild ankle sprain. Here’s hoping it heals nicely over the next few days. San Fran still in play for the #1 seed / home field advantage so I think he plays if possible.

Would be nice to see him rush for at least 50 yards and be comfortably over 1,100 for the season. Add the 700+ receiving and he has turned in a fine season despite the trade. Should make an all-pro team (probably 2nd team) as a flex player too if I had to bet.

Looks like he is doubtful for the game Sunday. Hopefully him not practicing is just precautionary.

Im hoping he can play for at least a little while and get over the 1100 yard threshold.

According to Weenieworld he isn't on the injury report:

Christian McCaffrey (ankle) is not on San Francisco's final Week 18 injury report against the Cardinals.

He got a couple DNPs of rest, and it's possible that the 49ers rest McCaffrey in-game as well. Kyle Shanahan told reporters that McCaffrey would be up and playing, but that assignment may not last long enough for him to be a locked-in overall RB1. He'll obviously be a great play for as long as that lasts, but Elijah Mitchell is expected to be activated from IR and could get plenty of work in Week 18.

This is good news! His slight ankle sprain must be not an issue anymore. Glad to see he will play a little bit. At least, he is just a joy for us all to watch. I’m also very excited. He is going to be playing in the playoffs, where I have no doubt he will have a huge impact.

CMac finished 8th in the league in rushing yards (1139), 3rd in total yards (1880) and tied for 4th in total TDs (8+5). In my eyes, his passing TD puts him ahead of others with 13 TDs :D

Great bounce back year for CMac. Now, he has an opportunity to go legend in the playoffs. Couldn’t ask for a better opportunity.

Christian McCaffrey as mentioned above finished in 8th place in the NFL Rushing Most Yards. As you guys know we have 32 teams in
the NFL. So despite the injuries and the trade he finished in the top 25 percent of running backs in performance. That is a fine comeback
if you ask me! Onward to bigger goals and it starts with a win against the Seahawks next weekend. Hope Cmac goes over 100 rushing
and over 50 receiving in his first nfl playoff game of his career!
