2009 World's Strongest Man competition starts today on ESPN at 1:30 pm (central time) this afternoon, thats about 30 minutes from now...

What a bunch of crap. They showed only one qualifying round and it was half an hour. Why didn't they show all the rounds and the final like every other year?

There is one black in it, Mark Felix. I am sure they are going to show everything and the final as well I am just pissed that that they decided to only air it for a half hour today.

yeah not sure why they did that...but the contest will have better ratings than if it would have been on sunday.

Outside of Felix & a rare, few others, most "affletes" don't have the power, stamina & athletic ability to compete in WSM...thus it's lowly "sports" stature (despite the fact it's takes more athletism than than Golf, NASCAR, Tennis & baseball).

WA33, "afflete" O.D. Wilson finished 2nd at WSM in 1990. Like I said, afroletes are VERY scarce at WSM.
