Missed the cut by 8 shots!
Gotta love it. Hopefully his "intimidating aura" is now gone forever.

i said woods is not gifted at golf. He played at a very young age, he had incredible mental belief and is a great scrambler.
The guy has never been a straight driver..and with his scrambling going downhill, with his deminished self belief, you will start seeing the real tiger woods.
Im worried about st andrews though, thats his big chance at winning a major.

ESPN played and re-played the footage of Woods' terrible shots for an embarrassingly long time. It was a welcome change. For once, Woods seemed humble afterwards, saying that "now I'll watch the field to see how real golfers play this course."Â

A big statement today from Irishman Rory McIlroy, who shot a course record 62 to win going away.
Rory's age? 2 days shy of 21!!
Not only did Woods collapse, this prestigious tournament may have launched the career of one of the stars destined to soon eclipse him.
Nice to see McIlroy greeted as he left the course by fellow countryman Padraig Harrington and several other PGA mainstays such as Jim Furyk and Bubba Watson. Golfers are class acts, except for one notable hothead (and his caddy) that is. Edited by: Don Wassall

Hopefully Tiger Woods will get tired of the comeback effort and retire at the end of the year.
By the way, Tiger was supposed to pave the way from the late '90s for a flood of blacks to take over the game of golf. Where are they?

McIlroy just played one of the best rounds I've seen in years. I can't believe this 20 year old sharpshooter just beat so many great golfers. Phil was charging towards the end, and to be honest, I thought McIlroy was going to start making mistakes...he only got better. His putt on 18 was a great ending to a great tournament.
The media lost all interest in this event after God's Gift to Golf missed the cut in drastic fashion. Their transparent envy of the budding young star was likely reaching critical limits. Edited by: Thrashen

I'm not a golfer, but the interesting thing about tiger woods is that when you're thinking about a black guy, it's only a matter of time before they self destruct. The only question is, just "what" is it they're going to do to louse themselves up. That's the one thing you can take to the bank about black men. Black women are idiots as well, but not quite as bad as their men.

It's because of blatant RACISM in the golf industry, of course! The black man is being held down! The country clubs descriminate against fine young black men with their baggy pants falling down, their "gangsta" t-shirts and their hats on sideways. And they overcharge, so that only rich WHITE men can afford it!
