Yep, the Gaye boy threw a hissy fit and pulled out already, not that she ever really wanted to get anyplace near a ring with either Klitschko brother in it.  Let's see her legitimately defeat one single heavyweight contender (she didn't really beat Valuev) before she starts shooting off her mouth about being champ.  How about Adamek?  Fat chance.  She'd rather shadow box with her pals, like Harrison.

Unfortunately, you weren't even being facetious. David Haye is quite literally a black female. Her jelly-like backbone isn't near sturdy enough to fight real men such as Adamek, Chagaev, or Povetkin.

She won't even give Don King's harmless and thoroughly corrupt teddy bear, Valuev, a rematch. As you said, she didn't actually even defeat Valuev, either.

But she did look impressive in her TKO of the elderly Jon Ruiz and the wimpy bum, Monte Barrett. Barrett is such a manly man that he actually cried in the ring after being crushed by Wlad several years ago.

Smart guys like James Braddock hedged their bets when fighting as an underdog. Braddock got rich after getting the fight contract with Joe Louis written so that he'd earn money on Louis' future fights. Do people think any less of James Braddock, past his prime, a bit punchy and perpetually injured, fighting a young heavyweight of Louis' caliber and losing?

NO. Because Braddock fought bravely and took the fight to the other man, even in an eventually losing effort.

That gets respect.

Haye is a myth and has neither the emotional maturity or financial savvy to make a potential loss profitable for himself. Idiocy, personified.

GiovaniMarcon, is that a picture of Braddock on your avatar? Also, great post and little history lesson to all about Braddock. Joe Louis after his victory called Braddock the most courageous man he had ever fought. Also, I believe in the first round Braddock dropped Joe, Joe got up and was obviously hurt.

Finally, there was a good movie about Braddock called the "Cinderella Man" played by Russell Crowe.

He's going to retire in October, he said so himself. That leaves him with maybe two more fights.

This was a really smart move by the Klitschkos,
they painted Haye into a corner, by Waldimir putting the Chrisora fight off until April and Haye in july
that will force David to fight his mandatory Chagaev, and i believe Haye is clearly scared of Chagaev. and if he can get out of the fight because of Chagaev's Hep B, Povetkin is next in line.

I would never give Haye a 50 50 split. He certainly doesn't deserve it as he's only a paper champion. Wladimir has ruled the heavyweight division for years. Then again if that's what it takes to get him in the ring, then I'm for it. It's not though,
