Wladimir Klitschko vs David Haye July 2011

Honest question did anyone really think Haye was going to win? The reason I ask is because Haye was the favorite on the British betting odds. If I had known that I would have flowto Britian. Well I still wish England a happy forth of July.

Just like I expected, Haye wasted everyone's time. He didn't belong in the ring, he was just trying to survive out there. I can't people bought into the hype, I wonder if the dwfs from England feel stupid for going out there.It would be one thing if he tried and lost but he didn't even try. I was hoping Wladimir was going to ko him but a win is a win.

Trash fight, Wlad in a dominating win, but also glad it was free. I think Haye was working on his ground game for a move to MMA!!! ha Would love to see him fight Forrest Griffin!!!

It was hype that got him the fight. He knew it too. Otherwise he would have fought like Holyfield against Bowe in the first Bowe fight. I will admit that the hooliganism and the jingoism of the Brits got me a little wary of Haye. But when they announced this I though Wlad should have been a 4 to 5 to 1 favourite.
 
TBH i dont think it was a good performance from Vlad.He looked too tentative and hardly threw the right which i dont understand as he had ample oppotunity all night.

Wlad was way too cautionary at times. Had gaye in the corner many times, should have insisted more instead of just letting him run.

Uh-oh. gaye playing the injury card. from bbc ----> David Haye is just revealing on BBC Radio 5 live that he broke his toe in training a few weeks ago.
Yeah right. poor injured negro. my heart bleeds for him. Luckily for him that injured toe didnt prevent him to run away 80% of the time.

How many flops did he had? And then a negro-lover claims Steve Bunce on Radio 5 live: "This has been one of the
best performances from Klitschko. The last round was a good round for
David. He didn't flop like a lot of the American fights have done
against the Klitschko's." What fight did this fool see?

What a big win for us here at this board and for all of the white fans around the world. We have seen our share of dissapointment but now is our time to celebrate. We rule the heavyweight division and have for a very long time. Whites also dominate the majority of the other weight divisions. A great day to take pride in our european ancestry. Thank you Wlad for knocking this bum down several times and winning the final belt. The only thing that could have made it any sweeter would have been a knockout. It's almost impossible though to knock someone out when they run the whole fight.<div></div><div>David Gaye is done! Stick a fork in him. Haye hit the ground more times than he hit Klitschko. You would think that after getting his ass handed to him he would show Klitschko more respect.
 
Both have better chins than everybody thought. Looks like Vlad has slowed a bit, and got this one on his boxing skill. Haye was wise to not take the fight two or three years ago, I think Vlad would have KO'd him back then. I don't know where he goes from here, but if he slows much more it might be time to hang 'em up.
 
Let's hear some new nickname ideas for Haye:

David "run Forest run" Haye.
 
A couple of things; 1st, the K Bros now own all the belts at heavyweight. 2nd, it was a controlled performance by Wlad, and Gaye is a mobile heavyweight. 3rd, Wlad took gaye few overhand shots well. 4th, gaye outflopped Bill Lamibeer. 5th, gaye put forth that he broke his toe 3 weeks ago. LOL He gave Wlad credit though.

Gaye was in survival mode all night. Like I said the most satifying part of the event is the K Bros have all the titles. Congrats Wlad.
 
Haye was all hype, as we all knew. His heavyweight career has been mediocre, at best. Typically, the more someone talks trash, the more boring their performance. They have to sell the fight with their mouth because they can't sell it with their fists.
 
Way to go, Wlad! I wasn't able to view the fight where I was, but I'm glad he shut Haye up and had him running around the ring scared.

I think that "coach" of him slowed him down. What exactly Wlad learned from him? Fire him right away and get Wlad a good european coach.
 
It is not easy for a big man to catch up with an evasive smaller fighter intent on running away all night long.

If Gaye managed to wear Vlad down, land some punches and eek out a close decision the media and his fans would say he fought a brilliant tactical fight. A craftsman in the ring!

Cassius Clay would ride his bicycle too and everyone said he was smart to fight that way.

When Vlad fights smart and cautiously he is a boring bum.
