That incident should be a wake up call for Wlad and his team. There are a lot of crazies out there.

WW, can you think of one white fighter that behaves like this? Fury is about as close as it gets but he only runs his mouth. Wladimir was physically assaulted by Chimpsora, and this could have easily turned into an assault. Briggs doesn't belong anywhere near a boxing ring. He's as punch drunk as James Toney. The amount of hatred towards Wlad negro heavyweights is absolutely absurd and only because he's white and dating maybe the hottest woman around. He's always been a class act and yet he's always criticized. Compare this to how they treat Floyd Gayfeather who has hurled every racial slur in the book at whites and Asians. Truly sick!

W33 -

Everyone on here knows about the blatant double standard here in Fagistan towards their precious schwartzes...and us.

Do you think that incident could have been a setup, like all those idiot "reality" and "science" shows they have on their dumbed down telavivavision now? The cameras kept rolling and nobody in the place leant a hand in subduing the black maniac, except for three guys, two of them being on the small side.

My guess is that Shannon is broke and probably needs money. By showing up at Wlad's training session and shouting like this, well the truth is Shannon is just embarrassing himself. He hasn't fought since his beating to Vitali and as I recall he was required to spend about one week in intensive care after that fight. This situation is just an embarrassment on Shannon's part and his days as a relevant boxer ended years ago. Many boxers dont have other skills or interests in life so they stay in the sport way too long where it begins to negatively impact their health (Jones JR, Toney, Golota being some recent examples).

This latest stunt by Shannon is just idiotic and comes across as a washed up, broke, degenerate, "has been" type of former boxer that is desperate for one last payday.

Wladimir was classy as always and I think he handled the situation perfectly. When you're the top dog, you will attract all kinds of losers, degenerates, trash, clowns, and "has beens" all desperate for a payday. The best response is to ignore them because to acknowledge them would be a god damn waste of Wlad's time.

Years ago Mitch Blood Green confronted Mike Tyson outside a Harlem custom designer store. Tyson decked Green and broke his hand and set back his career for months. Green like Briggs was broke and desperate for a pay day. But unlike Wladimir, Mike Tyson never took the high road(he largely swerved and flipped his vehicle off the road). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkigeXrliwc

I always thought it was funny how Tyson referred to Mitch Green as Bitch Green. LOL . Years ago, HBO did a docupic on Mike Tyson. In the movie, they covered this scene. The actor who played Tyson did a good job. But afterwards never made it big.

Then there is mumbling, stumbling, brain damaged and broke Toney who refers to the KLitschko brothers as the blitschko bros. Talk about a dude living in an alternate reality. A couple of years ago he called out both brothers in a disparate attempt for one last payday and suicide by a Klitschko. He was once a great fighter. I looked back when he was a middle and super middle weight champ. Its night and day on how he spoke and fought. He is an example of a fighter who fought 10 to 12 years too long. Mainly because he was too stupid to invest his millions. Now he is broke and in 5 yrs will be in a convalescent home with short term memory loss and drooling from the mouth. Holyfield went to the same school of stupidity.

I thought that Briggs was a better class of negro, a chess player, etc. Here he is behaving like a roid rage street trash, a common street n'r. He's high on something. His brain must have been turned to mush by Vitali. He shouldn't be licensed to fight again without extensive testing, including for drugs and brain damage.

Here's a follow up interview where Briggs is calmer. I still think his steroid dealer spiked his supply with something maybe it's PCP......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBSPeaofysA

Good news for the general public concerning the broadcasting of this fight. ESPN has picked up the American rights and more people will be able to legally watch the fight than if HBO or EPIX picked up the rights. The only problem is that ESPN in the past has had poor production quality and has just had an announcing team commenting on the fight from a studio. Ps maybe ESPN can put Uncle Teddy on assignment covering Floyd Gayfeather's gym workouts and his ****y post work out rants......

Briggs needs to be arrested for trespassing, disorderly conduct, etc. He also needs to be tested for drugs and brain damage. He is on drugs and high as a kite in all these episodes.

Imagine if the races of the boxers were reversed in this craziness.

Total publicity stunts both times. I even think Wlad was in on it. The idea is to get Briggs a payday against somebody/anybody. I expected to see Rick Flair make an appearance.

Yes! I don't know if Wlad would stoop to doing this to promote a potential mismatch as bad as the one that should happen on Saturday, but Briggs is desperate for a low 7 figure title shot. He knows he can't earn a title shot at this point in his career. All he can market is his flimsy historical resume(lineal champion by bogus decision and paper champion by the skin of his teeth) and this nonsense. Briggs almost broke out laughing when he started doing pushups for the media. Briggs fought a morbidly obese Mexican this past weekend that is a far step from even a shot White Wolf type opponent let alone Klitschko.

Boxing is morphing into wrasslin, but why would anyone conspire to hype up a possible match between the champ and a brain damaged doped up stumblebum ranked #100?

PS. I'm still po'd at Lyachavich for ignoring his corner and sticking his jaw out as a target and apparently deliberately throwing away his victory in the last second of that fight.

I'm pissed at the referee who either doesn't know the rules about a fighter falling out of the ring or ignored them. The Wolf was hurt by a salvo 20 seconds earlier he was leaning on the ropes and fell through them with about 10 seconds to go he should have had time to get back in the ring. It looked academic on paper as his head was more scrambled then when he fell through as he jarred his brain but follow the damn rules or at least know them.....:scared:

Lyak. had the fight won. He was ahead on all the score cards. His corner was literally screaming in his face before the last round to just stay away from Briggs in the last round because he always had the puncher's chance. So what did Lyak. do? He did the exact opposite of what they told him to do and what common sense would tell him to o, he stood there right in front of Briggs with his jaw sticking out like a target. Was he deliberately trying to lose or what?

In an awesome boxing display Briggs stops Mireles in only 27 seconds! Clearly Briggs deserves a championship fight after that awesome display!

What he actually does deserve is a thorough drug test and test for brain damage - and also some arrests for trespassing and assault when he goes barging into Wladimir's venues doped up to his gills and high as a kite.

Video of the awesome fight:

Hopefully Leapai doesn't get hurt badly vs. Wlad, and then he can fight Briggs if the latter is still around. They've already got the grudge match story line going.
