Looks like Will Compton is finally on the verge of starting at inside LB for the Blackskins, a long overdue promotion if it does happen as Will is much better than Perry Riley. Hopefully Jake Ryan is also on the verge of starting at ILB for the Packers.

Good for him, glad to see he has solidified his grasp on the ILB job. I guess he brought his hard hat and lunch pail to work every day.

Compton's a tackling machine and that's what it will be attributed to, not his athleticism. Same as it always is with Paul Worrilow, and even the great Paul Posluszny, though Poz is finally, at age 31 and in his ninth season, gaining some respect for his talent.

He's done a hell of a job since taking over! He has has 75 tackles on the year and only 6 starts! On pace for 100. Promising young backer.

Looks like Compton has solidified himself as a starter and will be the defensive signal caller this season. That's 3 pale face starters on D along with Kerrigan & Murphy. Unfortunately, that only 1 more than the offense.
