Well here we are at the end of October and it looks like 127 of the 130 FBS teams will be playing (all except Old Dominion, New Mexico State, and Uconn).
Out of the 123 teams previewed so far, there are roughly 712 white starters or about 5.8 per squad, which works to about 26.3% of total starters, a marginal decrease from last year.
The whitest team is once again Air Force starting 16 whites followed close behind by Big 10 stalwarts Iowa and Wisconsin. Surprising there was a minor uptick in majority white teams to 10. As many posters noticed, myself included, there seems to have really been a coalescing around that 4-6 white player squad, usually consisting of 2 O Linemen, a Tight End, a QB, and possibly a defensive player, if lucky. A lot of teams that had been in that 7-9 player range found themselves with these rosters this year.
