Well here we are at the end of October and it looks like 127 of the 130 FBS teams will be playing (all except Old Dominion, New Mexico State, and Uconn).

Out of the 123 teams previewed so far, there are roughly 712 white starters or about 5.8 per squad, which works to about 26.3% of total starters, a marginal decrease from last year.

The whitest team is once again Air Force starting 16 whites followed close behind by Big 10 stalwarts Iowa and Wisconsin. Surprising there was a minor uptick in majority white teams to 10. As many posters noticed, myself included, there seems to have really been a coalescing around that 4-6 white player squad, usually consisting of 2 O Linemen, a Tight End, a QB, and possibly a defensive player, if lucky. A lot of teams that had been in that 7-9 player range found themselves with these rosters this year.

White athletes per conference looks like this:

Independent 8.8
Big 10 7.1
MW 6.7
MAC 6.3
Big 12 6.2
CUSA 5.4

This is an absolutely damning indictment of the caste system. In the last 10-15 years, apparently the white man has lost the ability to play football?

this is the data needed to demonstrate the system in action, kudos for the effort here.

Thanks for the analysis. Reading through the 2020 college teams it was clear that there had been a deterioration in the number of white starters since 2006 for almost all teams. Sobering figures.

My thoughts exactly. Reams of misleading articles have been written about the so called lack of blacks in MLB. It would take a long thesis to forage out the multitude of reasons why there is such a sudden decline in white college football players. Obviously we can promote players here at CF but we can't navigate and assemble better numbers. I would be curious to look at the racial outlay of the Ivy League through the years but that would be very tough to compile.

I think cultural reasons are playing bigger roles now along with the terrible negative reinforcement caste conditioning that takes place for white children when it comes to playing sports. I suspect the concussion injury has steered a lot of whites a away from football with mother's especially being very influential here. And of course recruiting patterns are firmly narrow minded in this area.

But it isn't as if white athletes have retreated into other sports. Blacks are making inroads in youth baseball and basketball is still heavily black with no changes in sight for the foreseeable future. Hispanics are invading soccer. It seems the hunger and desire for whites to pursue top level athletics has dwindled over the years for a variety of reasons. We can cheer them on here at CF but there is only so much we can do.

As we move forward are white players increasingly going to be just wall paper and background music as blacks take their dominance to a whole new level? And I for one don't believe that is what the NCAA or the NFL want at the end of the day. It creates a level of white alienation that can't be good for their bottom lines. I suspect broadcasts will tread carefully in this area and not revert back to making fun of white players. The beat writers and fans however are another story although one wonders what will happen when there really aren't anymore whites for them to kick around anymore? One thing you will never hear them say though is that their teams "need more white players."

It could all be heading further into an all black hell scenario but as bad as things are I am encouraged by at least one thing. With the emergence of twitter accounts most young white athletes are out there promoting themselves. And after years of playing hide and seek many are realizing that speed etc. are important qualities to possess and they do a good job of keeping everyone informed on where they stand in that area.

It is very discouraging but I am not ready to give up the battle just yet. There are enough signs of hope out there, no matter how small, to keep me hanging on for at least the time being.

I do still feel strongly that the caste system itself - the neglect in recruiting white high school football players due to their skin color is issue number one obviously. After reading that article I posted in the Miscellaneous thread I think white athletes focusing on less popular sports is also playing more and more of a role - especially lacrosse. I am positive others here have posted the same theory/thought. The fact that white parents are trying to protect their sons by keeping them off the football field plays a role but lacrosse is a contact sport as well. It has yet to be infested to its core by the caste system. I'll be honest I do not know too much about lacrosse but the theory holds some water. Lacrosse athletes have the same builds as RBs, DBs, TEs and WRs so it makes sense they would go the lacrosse route since their chances of football recruitment are slim to none.

Why would white kids/white parents want to have their kids invest there time and energy into a sport that is openly discriminatory towards them? Why not focus on a sport where you have more of a chance to get a college scholarship? Everyone knows the caste system exists - everyone knows why player A (who happens to be white) is ignored even if the measurables and production are there while player B (who happens to be black) with less production and inferior measurables is a 3 or 4 star recruit. Until people come out to say it - specifically white parents and their white sons who get screwed over annually en masse join together with a collective voice the caste system will go along unquestioned.

Interesting article on the growth of lacrosse at the college level:
