Yes, it's true that the SEC BCS champions lately have not been "dominant" (I meant to say a winning run of domiance). We've had some bad luck for sure, but lately NCAA basketball, the NBA, the NFL, soccer and Lemaitre have been making up for this. The BCS will break our way sooner or later, I feel it coming!

looking forward to the Nebraska - Northwestern game. Going to have to root for Nebraska though, even though both teams will have a White rb and a dual threat qb that is White. Nebraska has a better shot at the national title next year. That will shut them up, they are very White friendly, a speedy Taylor Martinez, a White rb in Burkhead who will probably eclipse the 1k mark and one of the top DT's in the nation who happens to be White (Jared Crick).

Yes the last two years it was bad luck in the NC. The year before that it was Tebow running the show and the year before that it was Hester, a White rb. There seems to have been a White star at skill positions in most of the matchups, Maehl last year and Shipley the year before. Tebow the best dual threat qb and Hester at rb and Steltz at S.

If only it could be Nebraska vs Boise or Stanford next year, although I would like to see a White friendly team stomp an sec team full of the "superior" affletes. Utah went undefeated and beat Alabama but no dwf talks about that but theyll be happy to mention Colt Brennan getting sacked in the Sugar Bowl because his line couldn't protect him, which i think consisted of mostly polys.

I hope your prediction is right ToughJRiggins. I am tired of hearing about how dominant the SEC is. IMO its falling apart, especially now that Tebow is gone. They lucked out last year with one of the best coordinators in the country.

Georgia's affletic defense won't have a clue what hit them when they play Boise. Besides having athletic White receivers, they have the most complicated scheme in college football. VTech spent 5 months trying to break it down.

wa33, we will have slightly less half-white teams than in 2010. I'm going to do a write-up on it as soon as the previews have been completed and I hope to put it on the homepage as well. I will tell you that it won't be quite as bad as 2007 and 2008, but not quite as good as the last two years.

The previews for 2011 are done! Check the original post of this thread for the Whitest teams list, which will be updated whenever someone provides new info. There have been more of you helping in this effort this year than ever before and I appreciate it! Now for some numbers comparing things from year to year.

Number of teams that started at least 11 whites out of 22 positions since 2005
2005-35 teams out of 89-used non-black criteria
2006-36 teams out of all 119-used non-black criteria
2007-26 teams out of all 120-used non-black criteria
2008-26 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria
2009-33 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria
2010-36 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria
2011-29 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria

Number of teams that started at least 10 whites out of 22 positions since 2005
2005-43 teams out of 89-used non-black criteria
2006-48 teams out of all 119-used non-black criteria
2007-37 teams out of all 120-used non-black criteria
2008-36 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria
2009-47 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria
2010-48 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria
2011-42 teams out of all 120-used strict criteria

At the moment, the number of half White or better teams is 7 lower this
year than last, while the number of teams with 10 White starters is 6 lower. Not as good
as the last couple of seasons, but right now things are better off than in '07 or '08.

More analysis to come!

I did a real brief, rough check on teams white starters this year vs last, and it looks like we are about 15 starters down this year, overall in college football. Not good, but not a huge decline either.

referendum, are you talking about 15 starters down on the teams that are half-white or more? If so, I'd say that sounds about right. Like I posted earlier, this year isn't as bad as '07 or '08, but not as good as it has been since.

Actually, 15 starters total for all 120 or so college teams, so not really a big decline at all.

You are right, referendum. A decrease of 15 out of 2640 is around 5.6/100ths of a percentage point. Just looking at the half-white or better teams listed this year, I see an increase of 26 Whites from last season to this season. I'm not sure what I was thinking earlier. Oh well, I'm glad it is all 120 teams and not just those few.

The MWC lost a net of one football school this season and at the same time became more than one percentage point Whiter than last season. At least there is one conference that is still majority White. The SEC was a miserable one quarter White in '09 but still managed to decrease drop to almost an even 20% in just 2 years. Hopefully some injuries or changes to the starters will bring this number up as well, but I'm not holding my breath. These Systematically Excluding Caucasian teams are the last places a White player should find himself. It is the worst year ever to be a White SEC football player.
