The whole hunt for a decent black QB (I like to call it "Caste Search", not hosted by Ed MacMahon) is similar to the way schools troll their rosters to find black children to enter into spelling bees so that they can live out the fictionalized "Akeelah and the Bee" Hollywood crap, though the usual pattern of reality ends up being that the Urkels are snipered out really quickly by the nearest white, asian, or Indian nerd kid.

The difference between "Akeelah and the Bee" and other magical black movies (such as the idiotic "Pride", "Remember the Titans", etc.) compared to "Rocky", which was also accused of being white wishful thinking, is that there actually are white boxing champions where as a black spelling bee champion would be a fluke at best and an affirmative action fraud at worst.

That won't stop the minorities (or are they majorities now?) or the wheegroes from living in an alternate reality where the heavyweight champ is a white man only keeping the throne warm until the black boxer who was prevented from a title fight because of racism can take over.

The television can tell us over and over again that a black QB is better -- doesn't mean it's true.

Sad part is, many DWFs aren't interested in truth. Just texting on their Blackberries while driving their wussy little leased luxury cars with a tacky Obama bumper sticker, charging things they can't afford on their credit cards, going bankrupt, and wondering why our economy and country are going to pot.

Great post Giovanni! You never know- we may see a black spelling bee champion (just as we might see a white Barry Sanders or Champ Bailey someday)- but ESPN will wet themselves over the black nerd and minimize the greatness of the white Sanders. I think we'll be harder pressed to find black Nobel Prize winners in chemistry or physics. There's a more noticeable gender gap in high-level math and the mathematical sciences and also a noticeable racial gap there- just my two cents.

Here are the O-Lines from last years' teams. Right now, it looks like the O-Lines are getting a little darker.

We'll see after all the previews, but it seems that the number of teams with 4 and 5 white starters has decreased, and the number of teams with three white starters has already been surpassed by this year. Though as of right now, less teams do have 2 white starters.

If I am right, I think the only ones we will list on this thread are the 120 FBS schools. In which case we still have 17 (I think) to go. So hopefully we'll see some improvement in the 4 to 5 categories.

Bump for updates! With 106 teams complete, we have 28 half white or better teams, and 11 teams with 10/22 white starters.

Great job by the big ten with 6 out of 11 teams with half or better white starters, with Wisconsin's 10 making it 7/11 with 10 or more. Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Penn State need to look at what the rest of the conference is doing!

White Power, do you seriously not know that there are 120 FBS teams?

White Power, I don't believe you are that ignorant. You're not a newbie
around here. I don't believe the second part of your statement
either. I think you are just trying to be a pain and waste our time.

Is thar really what you think have I not made contributions to this site, and have I not openly expressed my outrage at the caste system and how whites are constantly being treated. Now about your question of did I know that their are 120 FBS teams. On rivals college football web site they list 127 teams. Also Wofford who you listed in the college perview is not among the teams listed however you added them to the teams being previewed. So Colonel I am not trying to be a pain.I just wanted some clarification as to how many teams this site was going to preview. So Colonel maybe an apology is in order.

Expressing opinions against the Caste System has nothing to do with getting miffed and asking questions to waste one's time. You have been around long enough to know that I (and a few others) preview a few FCS teams each year. I don't know how many teams this site will preview this year and neither does Jack Lambert. We will finish the FBS teams (all 120 of them) and then whoever wants to can preview whichever FCS, Division 2, Division 3, or NAIA team(s) they want to. There is no definite answer as to how many teams in general we will preview this year. Now if you are talking about FBS teams, we must stop with 120 because there are no more. It would be a great to see the link to the rivals site that has 127 teams listed so we can all see it for ourselves.

anyhow guys, there's no point arguing over something so trivial.
Col, Jack and others do a hell of a job every season to preview so many teams, especially since pics can be hard to come by and i can imagine it is very hard to get 1 team done, let alone 120. i think everyone on this site, White Power included appreciates all the hard work that goes into previews and realizes that this kind of contributions are what make this website so special.

in short, keep up the good work guys, and let's not bicker too much

I agree I do apperciate the hard work, and I don't mean to rock the boat. I just saw on rivais web site if you go under the site where it lists the depth charts for each college team, they list more than 120 teams. They actually list 128 teams. That is why I asked the question.

Hey Colonel University of North Dakota is now a D1 2nd year running football school don't forget to preview them. They will suerly be a more than half white roster also their black starting tailback has been suspended for the entire 2009 season. By the way the suspended players name is Josh Murray.

With 8 FBS teams still to be previewed, we have 33 half white or better teams this year (including Western Kentucky). Its nice to see that number increase, even if it is a very small increase!

UND and Wofford are tied for the lead so far with 19/22. They are FCS of course and the only FCS teams that have been previewed so far. I doubt any of the remaining FBS teams will come close to BYU's 17, so they will probably end up as the whitest FBS team this year.
