The two leading receivers for Texas A&M in Saturday's game were Ryan Tannehill (9 for 100 yds) and freshman Ryan Swope (3 for 39). In the last 2 minutes of the game, Swope blew through the secondary on a post route and was wide open. Unfortunately, the QB was hit as he threw the ball and it was intercepted, or Swope would have had an additional 80 yds to his receiving stats and the game winning TD.

I can't remember the last time two white players led the Aggies in receiving in a game.

*I'd like to know why Greg Salas gets no recognition on Caste Football. The guy puts up monster numbers every week and is only a junior. I am aware that he plays in a pass happy offense in a less than stellar conference but he deserves some mention. What are his draft prospects for 2011, 40 time, etc? I tried searching and this guy is like a ghost*

When I look at Salas' pictures I see more of a Hawaiian guy than a white guy. While I'll certainly root for his success to displace a black from "The League", I won't tend to cover him as much on this site as I would a more blatantly white receiver.

He could be part Mexican, being that he is from Chino, CA where half the population is Mexican.

Salas is half-hispanic, yet is full American in that he was born and raised here and hardly knows any Spanish at all from his Dad's side, from what I remember while following him in high school. Of course, he was primarily a corner (a good one, too)in high school, a 3rd option as a wide reciever on a team with a strong running game. I don't know how he identifies himself, but there also are hardly any "hispanic" NFL players, since they suffer the same gene inadequecies as the white man.

Freethinker, is Derek Moye of PSU actually white? Assuming he is fully white...he's a very strange looking white person. He has black hair, black eyes, and a broad nose. He might be an incredibly light-skinned mix.

Nevertheless, the beer-swilling, tailgating, obese watergirl fanboys in Crappy Valley are as colorblind as everyone else around this nation of programmed droid-fans.

We discussed this earlier Thrashen. I happen to think Moye is 1/4 black, but he is a mild anti-caste story b/c the drunken fans probably think he's white- so it could go either way on including him in our stat write-ups.

Also of note, Bryan Anderson of Central Michigan is probably 1/4 Amero-Indian, but I consider 1/4 Amero-Indians white for caste system purposes and in life in general. Bryan Anderson is also a bio-medical science major with a very high GPA and seems 100% white culturally and I think identifies himself as such as well.

Two white wide receivers received First Team All Big Ten in the coaches poll.

One was Eric Decker, of course, and the other was Blair White of MSU. He walked on by the way. His coach, Mark Dantonio, actually mentioned him as a big play-maker and his "raw athletic ability" in response to his selection.

Garrett Graham was knicked-up all season, but he still topped 500 yards and had 7 TDs.

Wisconsin runs the ball a ton, so that's probably the reason Garrett didn't get even more stats.

BYU TE Dennis Pitta just became the all time leader in receptions in BYU history, passing Austin Collie. BYU is wearing the royal blue 1984 National Championship throwbacks unis today as well.

Greg Salas - Hawaii - 103 for 1,559 & 8 TDs (2nd) After a fantastic season playing the slot in a high powered passing offense, we can look forward to seeing Greg repeat his success as a senior next year.

Jordan Shipley - Texas - 99 for 1,292 & 11 TDs (6th) We will get to see Jordan in the Big 12 Championship and then most likely in the National Championship game. A great career at Texas will lead to a day 1 selection in the NFL draft.

Max Komar - Idaho - 62 for 1,036 & 10 TDs (17th) Great senior season. Probably the last we see of this guy.

Kerry Meier - Kansas - 102 for 985 & 8 TDs (20th) Great hands, NFL next stop.

Brett Hamlin - Buffalo - 64 for 898 & 2 TDs (32nd) Underrated player as his teammate Roosevelt gets all the hype. 5th year player who would get a crack at the NFL in a fair world.

Scotty McKnight - Colorado - 76 for 895 & 6 TDs (33rd) Came on strong at the end of the season which will hopefully carry over into his senior year.

Blair White - Mich. St - 64 for 876 & 8 TDs (35th) Fizzled towards the end of the season. NFL is next for this former walk-on.

Ryan Whalen - Stanford - 54 for 861 & 4 TDs (39th) Luck to Whalen should be a big duo next year without Toby.

Andrew Brewer - Northwestern - 49 for 792 & 7 TDs (46th) Former QB convert had a big year. Good size (6'-3"). May have another season of eligibility since he was injured in 07.

Alexander Torres - Texas Tech - 65 for 791 & 6 TDs (T47th) Finished strong. Will return next year for the high powered Tech pass offense.

Dennis Pitta - BYU - 57 for 784 & 7 TDs (T50th) Top TE in the country. NFL bound.

Zeke Markshausen - Northwestern - 79 for 774 & 3 TDs (53rd) Senior walk-on finally given a chance to play and had a big year. Should have another year of eligibility.

Kevin Jurovich - San Jose St. - 58 for 762 & 1 TD (58th) Finally got a TD for an awful team. Hopefully Kevin will receive a combine invite.

Ryan Wolfe - UNLV - 74 for 760 & 2 TDs (59th) Productive all 4 years. Hopefully the NFL gives this guy a shot.

Eric Decker - Minnesota - 50 for 758 & 5 TDs (60th) Arguably the best receiver in the nation. NFL star potential.

Conner Vernon - Duke - 55 for 746 & 3 TDs (T65th) A true freshman. Has great size and speed. Can't wait to see more of this kid.

Derek Moye - Penn. St - 45 for 732 & 5 TDs (70th) Whiteness is debatable. Will be back for PSU next season.

Riley Cooper (Florida) 2 more games to boost NFL stock. Will play on Sunday due to great size and speed.

Jeff Maehl finished with 6 catches for 138 yards and a td against Oregon State. Personally I would have preffered to have OSU win, because I despise Oregon for letting Blount come back. But both teams play a lot of white guys so hopefully they can knock off Pryor in the Rose Bowl.

for anyone who hasn't seen Mariana play, they're missing a real treat. he is a terrific athlete and a tremendous football player.


he has the size and speed that speed-crazed SEC coaches supposedly covet, yet none of them even looked at him ... go figure. hopefully he'll get a shot at the League. he's certainly got that kind of talent.
