white running backs

Watched some of the Cal-Stanford game and caught a glimpse of a potential white RB star in Toby Gerhart (6-1, 229). He was a true freshman this season, but looked like a future dual threat from the tailback position.

Stanford media guide says he is California's all time leading HS rusher with 9,622(!)yards while playing for Narco High. Will play football and baseball for the Cardinal, he hit .464 last seaeson.

Has anyone mentioned this guy here before?
 
Yeah, actually I tipped off CF about Toby in September 2005, when he was still in high school and have been following him ever since. Back then he was a potential Ole Miss recruit. There is a thread about him under high school football and quite a bit about him earlier in this thread. The search function is invaluable for looking up old info like that.
