White Privilege course offered at Notre Dame

This is past the point of lunacy. This country has gone so far left in social, political, "academic" and media fields . I have to hope that more and more
of the silent majority are getting fed up. It was encouraging to read about that student leader who was outspoken in his opposition and as usual there seem to be a ton of like minded people posting comments.

My own personal reaction is just a verbal outburst not worth repeating here. I'm just so fed up with this nonsense. It's essentially the caste system at work in greater society.

This story reminds me of when I was going for my BA in college; we had to take a lot of different courses in "diversity" to give use a "well-rounded" education. This was around 2004-08, so not that long ago.

Anyway I had a choice between "Black Literature" and "Feminist Studies" and I chose the latter because I thought at least there might be a chance of seeing some cute chicks.

As it turns out, predictably, most of the students were either sad d-bags like me who HAD to take the course, or bitter, fat and otherwise completely unattractive females who "complained" about crap like, "oh, why do men always undress us with their eyes?"

Um, really, Free Willy? STFU why don't you, you wishful-thinking, buckshot-acne-having mammoth.

We were SUPPOSED to be reading literature, to the tune of four small novels for the semester, but we really only covered one because the professor (a big fat blowhard who got dumped by her husband and thereafter married Twinkies) chose to waste class time by having "workshops" where we just talked about ways to shatter the glass ceiling and other such nonsense.

In other words, a semester of gossip, trash-talk against guys, and ugly women bonding.

I suppose it must have been nice for the ugly ladies in that class, though. I'm sure many of them exchanged emails and became life-long friends and sit alone (being fat) together with their cats and Lean Cuisine dinners, talking about how men are terrible.

One good thing about that course is that I met my wife there, and she was one of the few normal girls who took the course as part of the "diversity" requirement. So, at least one of my hopes was fulfilled.

Courses like that have very little to do with student demand or need, but more with the indoctrination the University wants to perform on young adults.

I have not ever been, and have no intention of ever being in a "White privilege" class, but I'll assume that there will be extremely little, true academic discussion in that class, and more editorializing and just non-scientific bitching about "the Man" and how he's trying to keep the brotha' down.

I was in college from 01-05 and only had to take sociology (which is nothing more than observing the obvious) and African-American history. The only thing I got out of sociology was what a joke and farce it was as well as not to respect anyone who has any type of degree or doctorate in any field of sociology. The most worthwhile thing I got out of AA history was how much better off blacks would of been in this country if they followed Booker T. Washington instead of W.E.B Dubois.

Homework field assignment: Participate in a protest demonstration against racist white oppression (note that protesting your own mommy and daddy does not count).

In a real country, like China, you go to college to study subjects like engineering.

Colleges have gone from being diploma factories to indoctrination factories. It's no surprise that college is being pushed so hard in America. I was talking to a co-worker yesterday who is a Freshman at the local State college. The subject of race came up regarding a customer he had when I wasn't around and he had described what the customer did and said with no obvious tone or anything. I asked something like, "Did this person just happen to be Black?", knowing that it was a good possibility considering what had been told me. My assumptions were confirmed. The conversation from there went downward as he spouted the brainwashed, indoctrinated trash he has heard his whole life, and I am sure will get more in college to "finish the job" as you say. I told him basically that I am too "old" now to care what anybody thinks and facts are facts and we've had 50+ years since Civil Rights, integration, and there is no longer any reason to pretend that things are going to get better, only worse as a matter of FACT. I asked him some things that he couldn't deny though regarding whether or not he had ever encountered a more lewd, vile, obnoxious, criminalistic race in America, or another race that behaves and acts the way they do. He really seemed for a second, as if the light bulb went on... then, almost on cue, he turned off the "lightbulb" and went on to say things about "poorer neighborhoods, education, financial status, etc.". I didn't bother trying to "educate" him since apparently facts weren't really important to him on the issue. I witnessed firsthand pure unadulterated brainwashing from womb to the tomb right there. That Freshman is a perfect example of pretty much everyone you and I see everyday of the school system and media's cult working around the clock 24/7.

My response to the "black poverty" argument is always: how come low income whites and asians do not commit as much crime? Furthermore there are a huge number of low income, trailer dwelling, so called "rednecks" in the USA, where is their white privilege? They would say that you just dont understand your own privilege. The reason you were hired as a security guard is because of your White skin. There were probably 50 black guys that were better security guards than you, but you got the job based on your Whiteness.

Thats what they would tell you. If you dont want to admit its the truth, well, then you just need more White privilege education.

Its basically the opposite of the truth. Thats the world we live in. Whats a lie is considered true, whats evil is considered good. Oppression is privilege, and privilege is oppression.
