Great thread! I just listened to the John Wayne Parr podcast from Joe Rogan. He is a super nice guy and comes accross as very humble. I plan to watch his documentary "Blessed with Venom" soon. In the podcast he mentions his inspiration is the late Ramon Dekkers from Netherlands. Dekkers highlight videos on youtube are nothing short of spectacular. He was an explosive fighter with massive power for his weightclass. Parr is also very very good and still fighting at close to 40 now. There are a lot of great white kickboxers out there. Kickboxing and muay thai are quite a bit more exciting than boxing IMO. I would watch a muay thai card any day over boxing!

Another guy whose highlights are worth watching are Mike Bernardo and Jerome Lebanner. Bernardo had awesome Hooks. A pleasure for every boxing fan.

I love how these refs aren't protecting fighters like refs do in boxing. Especially in Mayweather fights. If you turn around and put your back to your opponent you should get hit in the back of the head. If you duck down and put your head in their crotch you should get a kick to the head. All these little things boxers do to manipulate the rules, guys can't do as much in kickboxing.
