where is oleg platov

what has happened to oleg platov? he has not fought for almost a year. He has a strong punch and good chin, his last fight with danny williams was a wild one.

Wow. You are right. His last fight was in December. I have no idea what is going on with him right now. He has no fights lined up either.

I'm not sure when his next fight it. He had a fight lined up in Iowa I believe, but the card feel through. I think he was also supposed to fight Jason Gavern, but that feel through as well. Perhaps he injured himself?

He's only 25 though, it's been common to see some of the Sauerland/Universum based fighters take some time off. I hope he returns soon though

He had the bad luck of having three fightcards in a row postponed/cancelled, and then he was injured and had to be replaced on the Marquez vs. Abraham card last Saturday.

Good fighter, but the poor guy has had a lot of bad luck.

Oleg Platov is now scheduled to fight Jason Gavern Dec 20, on the undercard of Valuev vs. Holyfield.
