We couldn't ask for a better showcase for white defensive players than this game. All three of the Vikings white starters have been making big plays, along with Brian Robison. For GB, Matthews with a huge play and Chillar has been outstanding again. Would be nice to see Kampman have an impact. At least the booth was giving Kampmann his due earlier.

Nice drop by Green Bay's hands of stone tight end Donald Lee.

This after waving his hand in the air calling for the ball. Also the throw was into the bottom of his chest so he might have caught it had he been ready with both of his hands instead of waving one of them in the air.

Donald Lee dropped a Rodger's pass in the endzone on 4th and goal. Hit him right in the gut, with his arms cradled around the ball, and it still slipped right through his arms. Where is bigunreal?

This game is a virtual white-fest for the NFL. I can't remember when I have seen so many white impact players in one game!

Green Bay fans have to hate Brett Favre. He's doing to them what he did to the Vikings for so many years.

The Vikings need a white reciever to be a truly watchable team. Their defense is stacked with white stars though.

Allen is tearing it slap up! Gruden said he was (arguably) the best pass rusher in the league!

Jared Allen!!!! The announcers gave him props but they almost slipped into caste speak by mentioning that he "never stops", I was waiting for talk about his non-stop motor but I think even they realized it would be silly to fall back on white player cliche's.

Earlier in the game Gruden did actually say the words "non-stop motor" when referring to Allen.

Allen and Robison are having great games.

Jordy Nelson touchdown!!!Edited by: Kaptain Poop

Well he does have a non stop motor to go along with superb athleticism.

true, true, he was tackling a TE 40 yards down the field.

also, a note: both teams have at least one white back with a carry (Kuhn and Havner for Pack and Dugan for Vikings)

Greenway and Leber were both standouts on that goal line stand. It was like watching an old Black and Blue Division game.

Nice way to salvage Week 4. One of the more White friendly games I've caught in awhile.

MVP: Farve of course. Rodgers played a heck of a game as well in a losing effort. Pack needs to shore up the OL.

Defensive MVP: Jared Allen. A maniac performance. Haven't seen a White defender single handily dominate like this in quite some time. As Gruden and Jaws noted numerous time - the best pass rusher in the league.

Other nice plays: Jordy scores a nice TD with a great open field juking run. Clay Matthews with stripping Peterson and running in for a TD (Casteans won't like that after Hester did the same thing last night).
Greenway making plays and saving a TD and recovering a fumble. It would've been great if Kuhn scored though (very underrated back).

Robison showing nice glimpses. He will be a solid Defender. Leber also made a TD saving play. Dugan had 3 catches I think.

Hawk was quiet (is he injured?), Kleinsauser had no touches or catches.
Poppinga was out there making some tackles too.

All in all, a solid performance in the MNF game for some of the top guys.

Would have liked to see some more catches by Nelson and runs by Kuhn.
But in these dark Caste days, one of the better games this year.

I agree, tonight's game was the first one in a really long time in which white players kept making big plays all night. It was a good way to cap-off an otherwise lousy week.

Brett Favre still knows how to rise to the occasion. He's gotta be feeling great, and for good reason. About to turn 40 in a few days, he puts all the black QBs (other than the oft-injured McNabb) in the league to shame.

Aaron Rodgers is excellent. The Packers o-line needs to get healthier and to jell better. The Pack is close to being a very good team on offense and defense.

Danny Amendola had a 91 yard kickoff return Sunday that was called back because of a holding penalty. First time I was aware of it as I don't think it was mentioned in this thread.

I am happy to see Reed Doughty have a good game. He started a few games in the past few seasons and he was always good. I believe he is also hearing impaired. Way to go Reed!

Yes, Doughty was the lone bright spot in that game. I hope he can keep playing solid games, and hopefully a few picks will come his way to get on the highlight reel. I would also like to see him get a few sacks and forced fumbles, to solidify him as the starter for the blackskins.

Yes " High motor" was used last night when referring to Jared Allen. Incidently, the announcers were silent in regard to Jordy Nelson's catch and T.D., they simply talked about Favre's good toss.

4.5 sacks for Jared Allen and a forced fumble. What a game by the guy who the so called scouting services said wasn't explosive enough or strong enough to be an impact player. I guess my trade in fantasy football for Allen doesn't look so bad anymore.

High motor was used, but so was "so quick, so explosive". Jared Allen put on a show last night.

Nice to hear that whites stole the show last night. The World's Worst Cable Package kept me from watching it.

I know it's difficult for some of you to follow the NFL these days but I think the Packers/Vikings game is a good example of a minor whitening trend in the NFL. This game was far whiter than a Pack/Vikes game you would have seen 10 years ago or even 15 years ago.

You can really trace the modern caste system to the 1992 NFC Championship game and Super Bowl. Yes the seeds were in place for years but that's when the tipping point ocurred. The 49ers and Bills were as white as teams from the late 70s and early 80s while the Cowboys were far blacker than the average early 90s team. Jimmy Johnson's thugs won those games and the NFL changed dramatically within a couple years since it's a copycat league. It's no accident that the few areas the Cowboys did have white stars (Aikman at QB, Johnston at FB, Novacek at TE, Stepnoski at C) have remained white over the years.

But if you look at teams that have been successful since many of them did not become successful until they embraced a whiter roster so I think you have seen a slight if gradual trend against those Cowboys teams. The Rams of the early 2000s were far whiter than the Rams of the early 90s and the Patriots and Colts were not successful until they whitened their rosters. And this year's Packers and Vikings are better than most of their other teams from this decade. It always amazes me that more struggling teams don't take a chance on whitening the roster because you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Solid observations, Staley. I agree with you about those Cowboys teams and the influence they had on the NFL, just as Jimmy Johnson similarly affected college ball with his super-thuggish Miami teams. TheNFL had been trending that way for a long time and Johnson and Jerry Jones gave theleague a big push toward making all-black defenses the norm along with the extinction and near-extinction of whites everywhere but the positions you mentioned.

More teams don't whiten their rosters because anything seen as going in a more white direction is implicitly and sometimes explicitly frowned upon. Less of Whitey in all things is the demographic and psychological dynamic, and nowhere and in no ways is it supposed to be countered, which is why the iron Caste rules of majority black starters and majority black rosters and no whites at RB and CB are never violated. That's why we only see timid moves away from coal black teams. Brad Childress is probably embarrassed to have three whites starting on defense, yet does anyone honestly think Ray Edwards is a more worthy starter than Brian Robison? Minnesota's "whitening" is very reluctant while at least Green Bay seems to want totest the boundaries of what's allowable for an NFL team. Edited by: Don Wassall
