Watched the first drive of the Packers game...Aaron Rogers looks sharp, but the attlete WRs are dropping everything. Oh well, time to turn off the electric synagogue and go train.

Mike Wright just gave a big warm NFL welcome to Mark Sanchez. nice sack and a forced fumble, Sanchez' first time getting sacked in his NFL career!

I'm watching the Packers-Bengals game, and for a few plays at least, the Pack had a 4 LB snow patrol with Chillar, Kampman, Hawk, and Poppinga all on the field at once.

That sucks with Walter and Welker.

Edelman sure as hell stepped up for Pats! they didn't miss a beat so far with him in! he looks exactly like Wes, maybe slightly bigger version of him. so far 3-41, but had another 10 yarder called back on a penalty.

Kolb is playing pretty well for the Eagles. I admit I didn't think he would play this good today.

Vaunted Falcons DE "afflete" Abraham getting whooped by Panthers OT Gross. Meanwhile DE stud Kroy Biermann still isn't starting (behind overrated "afflete" Jamal Anderson). BTW, Go Pack Go! Edited by: DixieDestroyer

Edelman now has 5 catches for 56 yards. He could end up being the Patriots leading receiver today.Edited by: whiteathlete33

JaMarcus watch: 3 out of 12, 42 yards and most of it came on a dump off to a RB who did all the work.

Cooley is playing well, again leading Skins in receiving. Reed Doughty came on the field as well, has 2 tackles so far.

I want him to do well as much as anyone playing today. He has been royally hated on by the media, always called bad, a bust, etc., based on one half of a game last year against the tough Ravens defense when McNabb was briefly benched. Another white QB who has been judged without any kind of genuine opportunity to gain experience.

just turned on the idiot box, and Heat Evans is playing GREAT! an INCREDIBLE touchdown catch and run where he broke a tackle, tip-toed the sideline, then leapt toward the endzone while going out of bounds but not before he extended the ball inside the pylon. AWESOME!!!!

the next series he pancaked a guy on a lead block to allow a touchdown run, and the announcers (Aikman and Buck) were raving about him.

also, Kolb is looking pretty good aside from the one throw that was picked off. Aikman has been talking highly about him, as well.

also, what happened to Welker exactly? is he done for the season? i hope not ...

Just watched Reggie Bush lose about 10-15 yards running backwards on a punt return.

When I played football as a kid, it was beat into our heads NEVER RUN BACKWARDS. Dose that not apply in the pros or what?

i don't think he's done for the season, no. he's been dealing with knee problems through out preseason, played last week and must have suffered a set back. he did practice did week, although he was reported as limited. Edelman is filling in well for him.

It's too bad about Welker. My lofty predictions I made last week could be hard to reach, but lets hope he puts on plenty of ice after every workout. I know the NFL has the best rehab people, but ultimately it is up to each athlete to be dedicated to rehab and come back strong. I don't doubt this will be the case with Welker. I'm glad Edelman has come in strong. I'm glad to see white receivers providing depth and coming in strong!

DuhMarcus Russell's seven completions were no doubt the deciding factor in Oakland's 3-point win over KC.

that's from rotoworld:

JaMarcus Russell completed just 7-of-24 passes for 109 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions in Sunday's Week 2 win over Kansas City.

Luckily for the Raiders, they were playing the Chiefs. Because their quarterback is quite possibly the worst in the league. He's definitely the least accurate. Russell's completion percentage for the season stands at 35.18%. The big-armed former No. 1 overall pick managed a 4.5 YPA against a Chiefs pass defense that gave up 307 yards and three touchdowns to Joe Flacco in Week 1. Coach Tom Cable will have to strongly consider benching him for Bruce Gradkowski.

Russell has to get benched. Instead of improving in his third season he is getting worse.I remember he had at least a few games last year with a completion percentage in the 30's. Let's see how long they let the "superstar" start.

I see Brees had another great game. Other than the 1 pick it was excellent.Edited by: whiteathlete33

Check your stats again, Heath Farwell (LB, Vikings) made several special teams tackles today. He was easily the ST MVP for the Vikes/Lions game.
