Matt Wilhelm played very well subbing for Takeo Spikes after he was injured (yet again). I was hoping that Scott McKillop would play instead however. It would be nice to see McKillop replace Spikes without having to serve a prolonged racial apprenticeship.

Greg Olsen was the best receiver for either team, and lined up as one a number of times. Devin Hester had a wretched game as did the Bears o-line. The team's other WRs are scrubs and journeymen-in-training. Matt Forte is pretty good in space, but is almost useless running behind a weak blocking line like the Bears have. But it's a good bet that Jay Cutler will take the lion's share of the blame for Chicago's bad offensive performance tonight.

not to mention all the ints. That's why I got rid of the tv years ago.

Has anybody seen an article as yet talking about how lousy the play has become in the nfl? I keep writing (snailmail) a local writer here about doing such an article, but he hasn't yet. He respond to my letters though. So I hold out hope that he might.

I didn't watch the game, I didn't miss much from what it sounds. Just another two nearly all-black teams going at it.

I watched South Dakota's High School playoffs instead. It's a small state, but it was refreshing to watch a game where there is good tackling, no dumb penalties, and nice offensive execution, and two all-white teams. If you want to watch the 11B Championship Game, you can here. It was a classic. The actual game starts at about 40 Minutes in, so you'd probably want to fast forward it to there.

I have never personally seen such an article from a Mainstream Sports Journalist. To do so in any publication other than other than an out of way one horse town paper would probably be career suicide for a writer. I have seen several blogs in the past that have talked about poor quality of play in the NFL, but never from even close to a caste perspective.

I've read and heard more allusions this season to poor tackling and poor receiving skills, but that's about as far as it goes. Asking more fundamental and probing questions is a career killer in the "land of the free." The same situation exists in the NBA, which has so many poorly played snooze-a-thons, but since it's the "world's greatest athletes" on the court, there can't be any questioning whether the best players are actually playing.

Fran Tarkenton admits he hasn't seen much of Jay Cutler, but he saw enough Thursday night to render an opinion on the embattled Chicago Bears quarterback.

"I really question whether he can play," Tarkenton, the Hall of Fame quarterback and former Minnesota Viking, said Friday on "The Waddle and Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000 in Chicago. "Quarterbacks need to make their team better. If it's a bad team, they can even make a bad team better. Somebody may say well, even Peyton Manning couldn't help the Bears. Yes, he could. Tom Brady could, too. They might not win the championship or get to the playoffs, but they would make that team better. Those wide receivers who are struggling would be better because they would make them better."

Cutler did have a really bad game with 5 picks last night but so what.  Every qb has horrible games.  Even Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have done this.  Cutler was very solid his first 3 years in the league.  Instead of questioning Cutler maybe he should ask why so many affletes drop easy catches on a consistent basis.

I remember around the time when athletes became more important than players. I think it was when Al Davis got Ron Brown and Renaldo Nehemiah was having his short lived career with the 49ers. Coaches had a mindset that they could coach the fundamentals but not speed. It's snowballed ever since. They're lining up to pummel Cutler. They should be talking about his sorry lot of wide receivers & his lackluster o-line. Oh how they love to pile on (when it's a star of lesser melanin)! I listened to one of the talking heads describing how Cutler "forced" the last pass of the game. What a dope!!! What was Cutler supposed to do? There was no one open, no more time & defenders rapidly approaching. Unfortunately this will only get worse Cutler.

I watched just a little bit of the 9ers and Bears game last night.  I am not sure who the commentators were but they were pretty fair to white players.  They were praising Justin Smith and Wilhelm.

If the Bears had kept Eric Peterman to play flanker or slot for them, Cutler would have a reliable target. Instead they kept the perennial "heart and soul of the Bears", popular with the team- WR Rashied Davis- (who isn't even worthy of an NFL practice squad). Rashied Davis isn't even as talented on special teams as Peterman. Rashied Davis made "A COUPLE" big catches in the Bears' Super Bowl loss to the Colts, but has done almost nothing since. I guess that's good enough to keep you in the league for 10 more years if you're black. Devin Aromashodu is another WR on the Bears- and he fits the aforementioned "raw" description to a tee.

NFL full of bad, dysfunctional teams

Bad teams have contributed to many bad games this season. Six of 13 Sunday games in Week 5 were decided by 19 points or more. Seattle beat Jacksonville 41-0. The Vikings beat the Rams 38-10. And the Raiders proved once again they're basically a second bye on the schedule, losing 44-7 to the Giants in a game that hobbling Giants quarterback Eli Manning could afford to leave before halftime.

Even some of the close games were unwatchable. For example, in Buffalo, the Browns won 6-3 while completing two passes. Two.

Glut of bad teams creating stench in standings

The author may be a Caste-ite, but the general issue is the watered-down nature of the NFL.

Just think about it... In a country with a population of 300 million, the NFL should NEVER EVER be this watered-down. I've been to several message board and there's almost always a "Which is the worst NFL team?" thread. That's certainly interesting...

Fran Tarkenton's ridiculous comments exemplify how hard it will be to ever overturn this odious Caste system. Does this guy crave good press so much that he's willing to throw a young QB with all the potential in the world under the bus? When will one of these old-timers speak out and mention the giant elephant stampeding around the room?

I also heard that gargantuan boob Golic blast Cutler, before the Thursday night game. He questioned whether Cutler was "the guy" and stated this was probably the pivotal season for him. Let's see- Cutler had well over 4000 yards and 25 TDs last season, his second full one as a starter. Jason Campbell is now in his fourth season as a starter. He hasn't topped 14 TDs in a season (the number the "stuggling" Cutler has right now). I haven't heard Golic, or any other jock sniffer, blast Campbell at all. Instead, it's constant tip-toeing around the obvious- Campbell has shown conclusively that he's not an NFL QB.

Funny how Tarkenton hasn't seen fit to publicly criticize the monstrously inept Jamarcus Russell. Why? This obese turd is the worst QB in NFL history, and it's not even close. Yet Tarkenton overlooks him, and the total failure Campbell, now producing as few TDs as ever in his fourth season as a starter, and concentrates on a QB that passed for well over 4000 yards last year? This is utter madness.

We are living in a demented society. Don King's America is beyond anything Orwell ever envisioned. In the sports world, white has literaly become black and black has become white. The only solution is to overthrow the corrupt plutocrats in charge. Yes- revolution.

The white libs are trying to manage black social chaos and are failing. We have enough examples outside of football to compare to what is happening league wide. Yes back in the day there were plenty of awful white dominated teams like the 70s Packers, but that was one team, now the chaos is turning the NFL into something like the Newark (NJ) Football League. A Bellechek can manage his chaos, but a Mangini and other lesser lights end up taking their outfits into a death spiral. Even Pittsburgh, as good as they were last year will be afflicted with the "chaos" that is black social norm.

If he would of done that thursday night they win the game point blank. In this sh*tty leauge the team that turns the ball over the least with their super affletes usually wins the game bottom line. That is how dumb down the game has gotten because of all the super affletes that drop the ball can't catch the ball, and in most cases can't remember the right formation to get in to run a crucial play. So Jay throw the ball away live to play another play thats all you have to do in order to be an effective Qb in this leauge.

I actually do believe Tarkenton has criticized Jamarcus Russell in the past. I am almost 100 percent certain that I heard him blast Russell on Fox Sports Radio a while back. His criticisms of Cutler have some merit. I didn't read into it that he doesn't think Cutler can't ever be a great QB, but that he must first take charge. It was almost a rallying cry, as in "you need to do this kid." I don't remember him saying anything like that with regard to Russell, which to me might mean that he doesn't even think Russell has the potential to succeed in the NFL.

The real difference is obviously how the caste media uses such situations to try to damage White players while giving virtual passes to black players who are struggling at QB. You didn't hear see or hear Tarkenton's words plastered all over ESPN or Fox Sports when he called out Russell and if he criticized Jason Campbell the same would be true. The MSM has had a definite agenda over the last several years of trying to ruin young White QB's. Jay Cutler is the latest one in a line that I have really started to notice beginning with guys like Ryan Leaf. Ryan Leaf obviously is an idiot and deserved to fail, but that is really when I started to notice an agenda was definitely being pushed. It has intensified to the point that they are almost trying to call White Players busts before they ever really step onto the field or have a chance to prove themselves. David Carr, Alex Smith, Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Jay Cutler and Brady Quinn have been some of the most criticized QB's I can ever remember in my lifetime. David Carr, Alex Smith, Brady Quinn, and Matt Stafford all took significant amount of calling into question of their abilities before they even stepped foot on the field. Contrast that to the kid gloves with with Jamarcus Russell and Jason Campbell have been treated, though Russell has completely sucked and Campbell has put up anemic numbers on a horrible team and has shown no real growth whatsoever as a passer in 4 years as a starter, Or how Michael Vick and Vince Young were completely pushed despite horrible play until the caste media began to look laughable. Now contrast how the MSM would like to destroy the career of Cutler while at the same time there are those who are now saying that Michael Vick still has potential in this league at 30+ years old after serving time in prison and that Vince Young still is a franchise QB in the making. Contrast it also how Dirty Sanchez was absolutely cast as a Hispanic savior after a couple good games in the league, and then tell me there is no caste motive in the league and its driving media. Look at how much scorn the media has sent Rivers' way, though his play is generally exemplary, and he has played through pain when it counts more than almost any QB (got to remember Chris Simms) than I can think of. But the media dogpiles Rivers every chance they get.
