Urijah Faber taps the very tough Brazilian Asuncao. Next up is Faber-Aldo for the title. I say Faber takes this as he has a great wrestling base which will prove to be the kryptonite for Aldo.

Main event is next. Varner-Henderson should be a good one but Jamie will make it 3-0 for whites in the caste matches tonight.

Oh well, Varner was winning the fight and jumped right into a guillotine. Donald Cerrone is next for Henderson and most thought "The Cowboy" beat Henderson the first time anyway.

So, 2-1 in caste matchups and Faber got a huge win. Not a bad night though Varner gave that fight away.

Overall, our guys did great tonight in WEC.

Varner lost, but only because he made a mistake in giving up his neck. Ben Henderson is one tough SOB. I thought Varner was going to snap his neck during his 1st round g-choke attempt....but Henderson wouldnt tap. Henderson is a good overall fighter (especially kicks), but lacks KO power. Hopefully Don Cerrone finally KOs him when they fight.

Of the white fighers who lost to non-white fighters (Jansen by UD and Varner by Sub), at least neither was KOed.

Urijah Faber, despite being a wigger, is an athletic fighting machine. If anyone could de-throne the very talened Jose Aldo, it will be Urijah. Hopefully Faber and Mike Brown climb back to the top of the FW division for another epic battle.

I'm wondering if Faber really is a wigger. Yeah, I know he sometimes wears semi-braided hair and comes out to rap music. But he talks kind of like a valley guy from the 1980s and seems like a lot of the white jocks I went to high school with. He is very polite and doesn't affect a black accent during interviews.

Anyway, Urijah looked very good last night and I think he will be the guy to beat Aldo.

I've heard rumors of a PPV card (the first for WEC) that would feature:

Cerrone-Henderson and Faber-Aldo.

LL, I wouldn't (outright) say Uriah is a "wigger", but instead embraces the "California Cool" style...quasi surfer, skater, SoCal laid-back, etc. He is a monster in the cage & I pull for him most the time (except against Brown). With Faber's speed & athletic ability, I like his chances against Aldo.
