It's official Samuel Peter is now a pay cheque fighter. Normally I wouldn't want a raw prospect to fight a seasoned veteran who was world class in his 9th fight, but Peter was clocked and badly ko'd in his last two fights. If the Peter management team have signed for this fight they are cashing him out. In horse racing this is the equivalent of having a former Breeders Cup runner running in a 5K claimer within a year...
After losing in a few high profile fights, fighters tend to quit when the going gets tough. I think Peter has had the ambition beaten out of him. I have seen this before with Bert Cooper, who gave guys tough fights until he had to dig down and then he eventually quit outright or just stop trying to win. So this fight shouldn't be as dangerous as it looks on paper for the Ukranian prospect.Peter seems to do better against smaller fighters. He's been dominated by the K brothers and Helenius who all stand 6'6 plus. His only other loss to a smaller fighter has been to Eddie Chambers and that was a MD. Glazkov is 6'3 so he's not really a "big" heavyweight. This could be a very interesting fight considering Peter actually shows up. I think Glazkov should win by UD, probably 8 rounds to 4 or so.
