Well the new annointed one finished the day with a 47.3 QB rating which included 3 turnovers and 2 sacks. At first I was reluctant to hammer the rookie, it was his first game after all, but given how the commentators and prognosticators are so quick these days to trample a young white rookie QB I decided I would go ahead and post the embarassing numbers. Yes, this is surely the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between Young and the Titans.

It was interesting to see the juxtaposition of a supposedly washed up pocket passer like Bledsoe with the so called future of the QB position in Young. HA HA HA it was nice to see one of NFL's poster boys get schooled by the type of QB they are phasing out. Good job Drew. Drew also put himself in 13th on the NFL's all-time touchdown passes list.

Vince Young was awful.He is barely better than M.Vick and they will be sorry they passed on Cutler & Leinart.Vince will have some good games just like a few others but will lack the consistancy and the decision making to be an elite qb in the league.The Titans will stand by him for at least as long as the Steelers stood by Kordell.They just can't imagine the possibility that these guys are capable of being busts just like anyone else.They are just so in awe of them.What a joke!The stat of the day is number one receiver Drew Bennett with 2 catches for 10 yards.Thanks to Vince Young.

Bledsoe's stats are regular season only; I'm not sure if Moon's include playoffs or not. Bledsoe definitely deserves Hall of Fame consideration.

I agree that using N-bombs and other racial slurs would not be good for this website and message board. It's actually good that they are banned, or else my feeling is that this board would be littered with them. Most people would have no problem with it when it is used to describe a punk thug, but when you just use it to talk about blacks you just happen to dislike for no reason, people are going to assume you are an uneducated racist, and there goes all castefootball has worked for. Racialist, race aware, racist, whatever you want to call yourself fine. But the primary cause dejour is promoting the white athlete (okay cornerbacks and running backs

Look at what happened to New England following the departure of Parcells. The whole offense became Bledsoe to Glenn, Bledsoe to Glenn, Bledsoe to Glenn. 3 bombs and a punt. Even yesterday, he was throwing into double coverage a lot more than Peyton Manning(always) or Tom Brady(usually). He's obviously talented, but has never been consistent or made plays. He never improvises.

He is your classic pocket passer from the 1970s without the field scanning ability. Great touch, but not much else. Overall, a good quarterback, but not HOF.
