How often was anything said about this when Vick was with Atlanta? He had a free media pass, yet a White quarterback like Matt Leinart is relentlessly skewered for allegedly not preparing enough.
Vick's m.o. with the Falcons seems to be about normal for black QBs, to the extent one can read between the lines of corporate media propaganda. Besides many of them being out of shape, there are periodic stories about various black quarterbacks now dedicating themselves to studying more, being at the team facilities longer, etc., whereas White QBs are almost always among the first to arrive and last to leave, part of their "non-stop motors" that blacks rarely have even when they are being paid millions of dollars and are portrayed as media idols.

Looks like Vick's days as a starter in the NFL are numbered. After this season he'll likely move on to another team as a backup and then be out of the league in a few years.
And wasn't it just the beginning of the 2011 season that Vick was unanimously proclaimed a "redeemed" superstar by the CM media establishment, about to lead to glory what was being hailed as a "dream team" after an offseason of signing pricey black free agents?
It's time for fantasy players to pick up Nick Foles off the waiver wire if he's still available. But given that Eagles owner Jeff Lurie, just like Dan Snyder the owner of the Washington Blackskins, has been committed to black quarterbacks for a long time now, it'll be interesting to see if Foles is given a meaningful opportunity or is just another way station before the team selects another "Great Black Hope" in the draft next year or in 2014. Surely the Eagles' black players won't be happy with Vick being benched. From Weenieworld:

The Eagles started last season 3-6, and Reid was reportedly "hoping" Vince Young would play well enough to supplant Vick as the starter. Young didn't come close to meeting Reid's expectations, of course, so he was forced to turn back to Vick. Per PFT's Mike Florio, it's becoming a "foregone conclusion" that Vick won't be back with Philadelphia in 2013 at his $15.5 million salary. It's expected that the Eagles will release Vick "right after the Super Bowl."

The Eagles are a team on which QB seems to have been a "black" position for a long time. It will be interesting to see if they draft another one in an early round this year.

DWFs seem to think Foles would do just as bad behind the Eagles O-line as Vick has. They completely overlook the fact that one reason Vick gets sacked so much is his inability to read a defense if his life depended on it.
