In his dreams. I saw a report yesterday that he might end up signing with the new UFL. There's a good chance the NFL will never employ him again given that it was dog fighting and torture of animals he was engaged in. Beat up a girlfriend to a pulp, run over people at 90 mph while dead drunk, attack some white people for racial reasons, things like that are quickly overlooked and forgotten, but even blacks have a hard time being forgiven for being mean to dogs.

The writer mentions his career passer rating of 75. Sounds like a great player to have given all that money to through the years.Vick has some nerve with his statements.

He's probably worth the money. DWF's will pay to see the turd, so will blacks. Like Don says the ony obstacle is the dog thing, especially with the PETA loonies who will ride him like a dog in heat.

It's also a story the MSM likes to do with black thugs, show him overcoming adversity, changing his life, acting like a normal (white-type) person, blah, blah. The usual propaganda they feed to the DWF's, try to get them to forget the stuff they see in the streets and on the news every day concerning those kinds of lowlifes.

Yes, most dwf's are split on msg boards. Quite a few say "hes paid his dues to society what else do you want him to do?" Playing in the NFL is a privilege. If i were to commit a crime like that i would have a damn hard time finding a job.
Some people are even going as far to compare Vick torturing dogs to people eating meat everyday and not thinking about it . "We dont think about the cows that suffer" Cows arent forced to fight each other to the death and if the loser doesnt die gets tortured such as electrocution and other horrendous things Vick did, but those things arent brought up anymore.
It is ridiculous what people are saying, yet Matt Jones gets more crap and no teams are considering him.Edited by: dwid

Geez, you'd think Vick would be a tad more humble after not only being a bust #1 overall pick...but torturing dogs for the purpose of gambling...and then going to jail. Oh, and also being the first black afflete the MSM has ever "turned on."

If teams wanted Chris Henry, Pacman Jones and Leonard Little...why the hell not Mike Vick?

If nothing else, it has been enjoyable to watch PETA and other phoney, super-liberal, white-hate "rights" groups forced to turn on one of their own and protest Vick. However, their protesting was lame, boring, and lack-luster compared to what, say, ANY white player on planet earth would have to endure.

As we all know, it's nearly impossible for the MSM to present any black person (or non-white person) in a villianous fashion. It must have hurt them deep in their multicultural-loving core to report this story....I was happy to watch them squirm.

The fact of the matter is most negroe affletes are terrble with money. Mike Vick is hoping to earn that much probably to avoid bankruptcy. You see in his mind what ever he does is forgivable because the world needs Mike Vick more than Mike Vick needs the world. Just another sorted tail in the life of the spoiled, and pampered and very under talented football player. I hope he comes back and falls on his ass. Vick you want see a real quarterback then borrow some money to watch Matt Ryan in your old stomping ground.

Maybe Denny Green can be his coach. Saw an article on Draft Daddy the other day talking about Green maybe coaching in the UFL. Wouldn't that be a match made in heaven!

When the story broke, it occured to me that Vick was in worse trouble for torturing dogs (which is a very bad thing) than he would have been if he had beaten up some white people. I also noted that Vick seemed to be treated harsher by the MSM than O.J. Simpson was initially when Simpson was accused of double murder.

The reason Vick drew the big salary he did was not because he was a winning QB, which he was not, but because of the money he made for advertisers through endorsements. He will not get big endorsement deals now because of PETA. Vick will likely have to settle for the UFL for this reason. The irony is that the sports media probably wanted Michael Vick to be a Super Bowl-winning QB more than any other QB.

Re: OJ compared to Vick, with OJ at least a case could be made that he might have been innocent, not so with Vick. Also there was no racial card that could be played so effectively with Vick. Vick should have been involved in something like tortuing and killing white women, it would have greatly improved his odds of not going to jail.

Also note that Vick still has a "chance" at a return to the limelight, after OJ's trial he had NONE, no matter the verdict.

Also, O. J. was found innocent of the criminal charges and has since dedicated his life to finding the real killers.

Today, Donte Stallworth was charged with DUI Manslaughter. Over the last 15 years, how many current and former pro football players have been charged with either murder or manslaughter? This doesn't include Vick, by the way. Stallworth makes 3 (Little and Goodrich are the other 2) former Tennessee players who have killed with an automobile.

Pro football fans around 1963-64 would never have believed this could happen. These were the years pro football began to overtake baseball.

Who Needs Matthew Stafford when you can have Michael Vick?

fatass negro Jamie Dukes shares his wisdom once again!
smiley36.gif

If the MLive.com audience is indicative of the whole Detroit Lions fan base, somewhere around 82 percent of fans do not want the Lions to draft Matthew Stafford.

The reason for this aversion has been discussed ad ad nauseam, so we'll just leave it alone.

Well, the NFL Network's Jamie Dukes has a solution for the Lions, where the team can address the glaring hole at quarterback and avoid using the number one pick to draft Matthew Stafford.

That solution is Michael Vick.

April 15, NFL.com: The solution for the Lions in my opinion is Michael Vick. Why Vick?
- Rest assured the Lions would have one of the top three running games in the NFL next season with Vick under center.

- Vick would help the defense because of ball control and his unusual propensity to keep the chains moving.

- Most importantly for the Lions, Vick is "recession-proof" -- he would sell out Ford Field.

Back to the Lions and their picks. The Lions should draft former Baylor OT Jason Smith at No. 1 to shore up their offensive line. They should use their second first-round pick (at No. 20) on the most disruptive defensive lineman they can find.

Dukes theory is fun to discuss, but it seems foolish to assume Vick is ready to hop right back under center after two full seasons away from the game.

Vick never was a great passer, having a career completion percentage under 54 percent. Therefore any team investing in his services would be banking on the hope he hadn't lost any of the speed or elusiveness that made him one of the most exciting players in NFL history.

That's a big leap of faith.

Plus, one would have to assume the Detroit Lions aren't interested in the potential PR nightmare and certain circus-like atmosphere that would be part of the package if the team decided to add Vick.

Personally, I think Vick committed horrible crimes, but he's paid his debt to society. If the Lions want to give Vick that chance, I'd support the move. I just don't see it happening.

In what way has Michael Vick ever proved he is effective in any way? 54% completion percentage. By the way he fought dogs and drowned and electicuted them. Where is the article on Matt Jones getting 2000 yards if used correctly?

The author says Vick has paid his debt to society. His actions are not only irresponsible but borderline pure evil

Vick is one of the most overated, pamperd, flops of an affalete in the history of athletics! The caste clowns have had to chew on his failure since he turned pro. Alot like Vince Young, Byron Leftwitch, Tavarus Jackson, Quincy Carter, Aaron Brooks, Dante Culpepper, Jamarcus Russel. Only with Vick, it hurts them more, because he had such "potential", but for some strange reason, he was never any good as a pro.

Gentlemen,

I think the one thing Vick is a champion at is loss of money. If I've got it right, he's lost over a hundred million dollars already. That's quite an accomplishment. I think he's got it in him to end up sitting in the gutter somewhere. He wouldn't be the first black guy to end up like that.

Joe Louis would have been in the gutter if it wasn't for White people like Max Schmeling who helped him along in life (Schmeling actually paid for Louis' funeral).

Sugar Ray Robinson, same thing.

I've heard Joe Frasier is in the same boat.

So many of these blacks are one dimensional people with no abiltity to navigate through life. Once their athletic careers are over, they seldom have money coming in. It's always just going out.

Well after the Lions organization allowed Matt Millen to screw the team over for years, why not make ConVick the quarterback. It will be fun to watch this looser struggle, fumble, throw interceptions and of course, flip off his dumb ass fans.

As a Packer fan I fully support this idea of this guy going to the Lions. In these times we gotta keep the DWFs entertained who better than a black afflete god on a comeback tour?

this makes me sick, they are going to do a reality show with him and he will receive 600,000 dollars, let me find the link

edit: well its not definite but he is shopping around i think

"Vick is serving a 23-month sentence for dogfighting conspiracy. His attorneys did not return a call for comment, but they told a judge this month at a bankruptcy hearing that Vick has agreed to a "television documentary deal" that will pay him $600,000.

That number represents only a small portion of what Vick is asking for, however. The athlete, who reportedly owes millions to creditors, is seeking a high-dollar figure for participation in the show.

Among the questions surrounding such a deal is the matter of which network would be interested in a Vick reality show. Insiders place bets on A&E and Spike TV as likely first stops.

"It sure won't be Animal Planet," more than one source quipped."
