Congrats again to one of the greatest heavyweights to ever live. There is no doubt that either of the K2 Brothers could beat anyone of any era. What utter dominance. Glad to see it stopped as I hate to see any white warrior get it handed to them like that. Adamek was brave and couragous and he should still keep his head high. Vitali is just simply that good!

The white guy won again! Man, we're on a roll. Easy money again for Vitali. Not so easy for Adamek. He probably sustained more damage from this one than all his previous fights. It's just tough moving up in weight. Tomaz seemed hindered by the extra muscle, but he never really had a chance anyway. Wish it had been Haye in there instead.

Haye may be next for Vitali. I would love to see that fight and hopefully Vitali will KO him.

Yes the fight was in Poland, but HBO is showing the fight again as a lead in to a live broadcast. The fight to me went as planned, I thought Adamek would win a few rounds, but he looked too small and not fast enough to deal with length and accuracy of Klitschko. It's amazing what Klitschko is doing at 40. It's even more amazing than Hopkins as he isn't resorting to wiley moves and borderline cheating. He is outfighting guys ten years younger than him. Truly historic...:high5:

Good article here:

Vitali Klitschko may still be the best heavyweight in the world

Vitali Klitschko is 40 years old now. His best years in the ring are obviously behind him. Yet still, when he enters the ring this Saturday against Tomas Adamek as the reigning WBC belt holder, one can’t help but believe that Vitali Klitsckho may still very well be the best heavyweight in the world.

Well that was a walk in the park. After watching the fight, it appeared that Tomasz was totally out classed by Vitali. I expected a more competive fight. Tomasz did keep trying but the effort was futile.

If Vitali fought Ali in his prime the fight would have pretty much went like this. Vitali too smart, too big, too athletic, too good and too strong.

If Hellinius learns to move his head like Vitali and anticapate the opponent, he will be the heir apparent after Wlad and Vitali are done in 4 our 5 years!

Adamek was foolish to think that he actually stood a chance against Vitali. I was torn over who to root for in this fight. I've been following the brothers for 10 years now and my Polish heritage was the other half.

Adamek could go back down to cruiserweight and have some interesting fights. A fight with Marco Huck would be very interesting as well as a rematch with Steve Cunningham. He's got the power and speed to beat any cruiserweight on the planet. Maybe after the brothers retire he can move back up to heavyweight and finally win that belt.

Vitali was excellent. He has amazing reactions, timing and anticipation. Adamek gave it his best but was outmatched. No shame in his performance, he fought like a man unlike the flopper who just tried to survive. Adamek maybe could beat the smaller heavyweights like Povetkin, Chagaev or Chambers for a title.

The Sky commentators were pretty positive about Vitali which was a nice change. Jim Watt described his performance as "wonderful" and John Rawling was saying things to the extent of Vitali would have been an outstanding heavyweight in any era and it would have taken an incredible heavyweight to beat him. Johnny Nelson and Glen McCrory were also pretty complimentary. It was a refreshing change from the usual negativity about the brothers.

I watched the Gamboa-De Leon fight and Lampley and the bug-eyed Kellerwoman were discussing fighters who aren't/weren't fast but have or had great timing. Kellerwoman predictably named the Klitschko brothers. :der: It beggars belief that anyone could say Vlad isn't fast. Vitali is not exactly slow either, especially if you consider his size and age.

One of the commentators said something like "Vitali can step back from punches but can't counterpunch like Ali" or something to that extent. It really was a slap in the face.

Thanks for the download link! I'm gonna watch it as soon as stupid football's done. Honestly, if I was watching this live, I would've been rooting for Adamek. The dude just amazes me when he's fighting. But I'm going to enjoy seeing how Vitali takes him out.

True.

Max Kellerman isn't as good as Al Bernstein at hiding his hatred for white boxers, he makes it very obvious.

Idiots like Kellerman will continue to sound stupid whenever a white boxer triumphs. Wlad could remain HW king for another 3-4 years, while Vitali should gut it out until next year. More reason again to give those like Kellerman brain aneurysm.

The most amazing thing about the Klitschko HW domination is how they achieved it in an era where the sport has become severely tainted by corrupt politics and bureaucracy. That in itself is enough proof why both brothers deserve a high placing among the greatest boxers ever.

As white lightning said many times, both are possibly the 2 greatest HW's ever. Many still laugh and ridicule at that notion, but a growing number are starting to become believers. The Klitschkos have become iconic figures in the sports, much of it for good, positive reasons.

The usual excuses of them being boring, dominating a shallow HW division is pretty much lame old news.

At first I was actually hoping Adamek could pull it off. But now I understand how stupid I was thinking. The media and fans who hate the Klitschkos are desperate for an Ali, Norton, Frazier, ect, sized fighter that can give Wladimir or Vitali even a little trouble.....They were really pulling for Haye and Adamek so they could be used as propaganda against the brothers............

I doubt the so-called PEEK A BOO style will be effective on the Klitschkos.

Haters continue to rant that Frazier or Tyson would murder the Klitschkos in a few rounds. :icon_rolleyes:

Adamek would give almost any heavyweight in history a fight and look at what Vitali did to him. I think a fighter like Lewis would beat Adamek because of the big size difference. I think Adamek could beat a prime Bowe though as well as a prime Holyfield.
