Karo Parisyan pulls out of tonight's fight due to back injury. However, he said in an interview that he has been having panic attacks for the past eight months and has serious problems with anxiety right now.

Can't wait for the Kampman/ Marquardt fight. Dan Henderson back in action as well.

Full card:

Main Card Bouts:
-Chuck Liddell vs. Rashad Evans
-Rich Franklin vs. Matt Hamill
-Nate Marquardt vs. Martin Kampmann
-Dan Henderson vs. Rousimar Palhares
-Karo Parisyan vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida

Preliminary Bouts:
-Dong Hyun Kim vs. Matt Brown
-Kurt Pellegrino vs. Thiago Tavares
-Roan Carneiro vs. Ryo Chonan
-Mike Patt vs. Tim Boetsch
-Jason Lambert vs. Jason MacDonald

This is a stacked card. The Karo - Yoshida fight is off, Karo withdrew as per my post above, but still - great night of fights.

I hope we have another highlight reel KO by Chuck, but I have a feeling Rashad isn't going to play the right game. I expect a Jardine-esque style fight from Rashad, standing on the outside jabbing and kicking. If Rashad wins we'll never hear the end of it.

Probably doesn't mean anything but Chuck looked really confident at the weigh-in, Evans not so much.

Hopefully Chuck's size/ height advantage will be the difference maker.

Chuck always looks confident, except when he's fighting Rampage.

I hope his confidence isn't over-confidence though. That could come back to bite him.

I still think he will win by KO/TKO, I'm just worried about this fight for some reason.

I guess my concerns about this fight were not unfounded.

In case anyone missed it, Rashad brutally KO'd Chuck Liddell with an overhand right. Liddell was out on the canvas for several minutes. He was knocked completely unconscious.

Liddell should call it a career. The KO loss vs Rampage that last time, was the beginning of the fall.

Hang your glove Chuck, you are still one of the greatest.

Anyone notice that chuck and rashad threw punches that nearly mirrored chuck's last ko loss to rampage?

I really hate rashad and I was really looking forward to seeing that padded record of his start to fall out from under him. Meh, now I guess this means he's "for real", even if he was running and dancing the entire fight up to that moment.

I don't know if you heard Rashad's pre-fight trash talk, but that's essentially what he said: "This fight is Chuck's retirement party. After this fight he's gone take off his gloves and walk his old ass out da octagon."

The problem for Chuck, and Tito as well, is that they haven't changed their game in years, while everyone else continues to improve and add skills to their repoitore. When Rashad started his career, he was nothing but a wrestler. His stand up skills were sh*t. Now, he has two UFC highlight reel KO's.

Randy is another of the old guard. But he has managed to stay relevant because he changes his game plan every fight, to take advantage of his opponent's perceived weaknesses. He hasn't continued to depend on Greco-Roman wrestling to win every fight. It's just another part of his skill set.

Jardine, believe it or not, taught everyone how to beat Chuck. You'll never see another guy chase Chuck around trying to get a takedown. Jardine didn't, Rashad didn't, and no one else will either. Wanderlei didn't either, and he gave Chuck all he could handle. Too bad Wanderlei is really a bulked up middleweight...

Chuck's still a legend, but his unorthodox low-hands style caught up with him tonight. I like fellow UGA Dawg Griffin against YOshad.

Good to see Dan Henderson & Marquardt get solid victories.

Sorry guest301, but it's like I said. Liddell has power, but not speed.

I wonder if he will try new stuff in his next fight, or if he will stick with his current style and become irrelevant. He can't beat contenders anymore just by punching at them.

Hopefully his talk about moving to 265 was only talk. He doesn't have a chance up there.

I would like to see Evans vs Griffin.
Griffin is a smart fighter, with a good chin(underrated), good boxing, good legkicks.

Liddell got what he deserved. I never really like the guy's character. From what I understand, he does coke, showers with groupies before fights, and is a rumored member of S.H.A.R.P. (Skinheads AGAINST Racial Prejudice). As far as I'm concerned, he's drug-using race traiting scum that we don't need to like, support or respect. As a matter of fact, the ONLY and I mean ONLY reason I wanted him to win was because he is "White". But now, I'm actually kind of glad he lost. He's not someone that should be either respected by us OR idolized by our youth. Knowing what I know about him, he's trash.

I can't just root for someone solely because they're White anymore. They have to be of good charachter as well as being White. Men like Rich Franklin fit this profile as does Fedor Emilienko. Educated men who look, act and behave in a classy manner is what we need more of. Not some clown who's banging airhead bimbos and blowing slug-lines of yayo up his nose a half hour before a fight. Liddell can go snort himself to the cemetery with that other White embarrassment Phil Baroni. He's another schmuck I wouldn't miss.Edited by: Ground Fighter

Despite my ruthless hatred for Chuck Liddell, I predict that Rashad Evans will go the same route as Rampage Jackson did. He'll be on top for like a month until he loses to a better fighter. Just like when Rampage got bitch slapped by Forrest Griffin and he took his belt from him. I've noticed a slight trend in this sport: Even if a black fighter makes it to the "top", he doesn't stay there for long. Right Rampage?

WTF: The Liddell knockout is STILL a headline on yahoo's main page, and I'm writing on Sunday evening.

Caste media delights any time a black KOs a white, and will be sure to hype it to no end. Ridiculous.

It looked in Chuck's favour but the fight was still obviously up for grabs. Chuck should retire he has lost some speed, which compensated for his less than text book boxing style. Now that he is slower he can't expose his jaw and expect to not get ko'd or badly hurt.

GF, if you're correct about Liddell's anti-"racism" (ie - lefty) & coke use, then I'd have to concur with your sentiments on him. I definitely think guys like Couture, Fedor & Ace Franklin are class acts & represent the sport quite well.

as long as you don't start implying that somehow a roid head wife beater like lesnar is a class act too. I've met Liddell and I have to say he seemed like a pretty nice guy. Can't say the same about my experience with Lesnar.

For you guys who don't like either Chuck or Lesnar, if you were watching a prison yard fight between members of the Aryan Nation - murderers, drug dealers, etc. - and members of the Black Gorilla Family, would you root for the Nation to lose or the Family? After all, those guys are all punks and losers anyway, right?
