Let's hope Stipe takes care of the French African and breaks record for Heavyweight Title defenses!

Watching Bellator right now, they were talking about Michael Chandler adopting a son. I knew it was going to be black. :buenrollo:

Miocic did take some damage but Ngannou looks gassed.

Stipe just dominated him through five rounds. Ngaannou has no wrestling or cardio.

Ngannou is an obvious juicehead. USADA is under the employ of the UFC, Dana White probably yelled at them for busting Jon Jones so now they're trying to clear his name with farfetched scenarios. Dana probably warned them not to bust his pet project Ngannou who is basically sponsored by the UFC and their performance institute.

Stipe beat this guy with ring smarts and having a complete game. Really the African is pretty raw and was rushed into this title match because White probably feared a lesser light would pop his bubble if the opponent took him into deep waters.

Aside from knocking him out late this was the perfect fight from Stipe.

Ngannou actually didn't get a short camp. Most MMA camps are about 6-8 weeks, and considering he had substained no damage against Reem in his last fight, he would be able to go right into fighting again. The reason for his conditioning being so bad is largly due to having to much muscle mass. It may give you power in your punches, but it also means you're going to need more oxygen to feed your muscles. Marcus Jones from TUF heavyweight had the same problem.

With a record 3 successful defenses of the UFC Heavyweight belt, Stipe should now be considered the best HW in UFC history. He also has 6 straight wins in the HW division against a murder’s row of competition, a truly impossible feat. He did his race proud and is, without question, the “baddest man on the planet!”

After bludgeoning the (likely) roided-up African, Stipe gave a post-fight interview inside the cage where he said: “all this doesn’t mean sh-t right now, I’m gunna be a dad! I’m having a baby! Hell, yeah!”

A blonde-haired, blue eyed white man obliterates an ultra-hyped, muscle-bound negro and then informs the viewing audience that he and his wife are expecting a child. What a terrible scene for the Marxists to endure!

Huge caste win for us last night and again congrats to The Baddest Man on the planet! Stipe was rightfully pissed at the hype thrown at Ngannnou by the ((media)) and Dana White. He even was a bit chippy with Joe Rogan( who fawns over every jacked up black fighter).

Overall good card and as Hawkeye mentioned Kattar had an awesome KO over an undefeated Burgos!

I am surprised Ngannou made it the entire way. Thought Stipe could have put a rear naked on him in the 4th.

Looking forward to a Cormier/Gustuffson rematch. Would like to see that Jones/Cormier lock on that division ended. Jones will come back, fight Stipe. Stipe will kick Jones's skinny legs out, then ground and pound him.

Agreed he was gassed after RD 1! Stipe took him to deep waters places he hasn't seen cardio wise !

Let's hope The Mauler heals up from surgery and comes back for that elusive Light Heavyweight Title he's been chasing.

I thought Miocic could have KO'd him at anytime past the 3rd round, I think he was wanting to put a bad ass beating on the negro. Dana White made a huge mistake putting him in against a fighter so vastly superior hoping he would land the lucky punch and win the belt. If anything this screws the negros head up worse than if Miocic had decided to end it early in the 3 or 4th round and knocked him the ph@@k out lol.

Watched the card, thought it was alright but somewhat mediocre at times.

Cormier's opponent Oezdemir seems to have been picked as an easy defense. Oezdemir was over-matched with his questionable skills; and Cormier is no master either. While fighting "stand-up" Cormier left himself completely unprotected and vulnerable with his turning away from his attacker but Oezdemir had no idea how to make a step in to land an unseen power shot. While wrestling/grappling, Oezdemir looked like a novice. Why was Oezdemir there? Is Oezdemir really the best available to contend the champion? Does it not seem inconceivable that these two were fighting to determine the best in the world at their weight? If they were, the level of skill to be a champion has greatly diminished -but I don't for minute believe Cormier and Oezdemir comprise the worlds best.

By appearances, Miocic fought a safe, conservative fight, but also a drawn-out contest of attrition. The Ngannou looked not a little heavier but maybe fifteen or twenty percent heavier than Miocic; the extra weight seemed to help his ability to absorb strikes while standing but especially on the ground. And Miocic was the only one in the cage, so he had no help from anyone, and had to wrestle the big lug all by himself. It was no easy task but Miocic was up for it and with hard work managed to repeatedly topple the Ngannou time and again and hold him down with no restraining apparatus other than his own limbs. Remarkable work by Miocic; a champion of the cage. We should extend our praise also to the Ngannou who showed great will and determination not to surrender and willingly accepted being thrown about, punched and chocked for twenty-five minutes.;)

Amusement aside, hand to hand combat is not a safe way to earn a living. Why should Miocic risk the counter strikes that may come from stand-up fighting when he could safely win by close-in ground work. A safe win he retains his title and is due for yet another equal or greater purse next fight.

I think Ngannou can take a big punch as Miocic land 200 strikes and 70 of those strikes were strong strong shots...I would not want to be Ngannou this morning as his he is most likely in a world of hurt. I also believe that Miocic was gassing after the third round from holding a 270lb man on the cage or ground for 15 mins. He showed the heart of a champion, Ngannou needs to rethink his whole approach to MMA. There is no one left for Miocic to fight sans Cain Valaquez but I do not know if he is retired or not.

Ngannou has a lot of tools, but is no where near a rematch. He really has to go back to the drawing board.

There is no one for Stipe right now. Have any of you guys seen this Minakov guy fight yet?

I am hoping they clear Jon Jones and Jones goes to heavyweight. I think Stipe would stomp him.
