UFC 110

Looks like a pretty solid card. Bisping is for real back if he gets a win over Wanderlei. After he got KTFO by Henderson thats something that he could be proud of, to bounce back after receiving a devastating KO.

No proper caste matches though I would love to see "Brown Pride" lose (which I think he will).

Silva had major trouble making the cut to 195 against Franklin. He will be a zombie at 185 so Bisping should be able to pound out a victory over Wandy as he fades in the fight.Edited by: Liverlips

After getting smashed by Henderson, Bisping had a great 2nd round TKO of Denis Kang. Afterwards, he brought his son into the octagon.

I'm not sure he'll get too much respect should he beat an aging Wanderlei Silva...as Silva has the tendency to either win big, or lose terribly (ala Chuck Lidell).

I agree with Dixie's asessment of "who we should be pulling for," however, what is Joe Stevenson's actual ethnicity?

Thrashen, I always thought Stevenson was part "injun", but his MySpace page lists his Ethnicity as "Latino/Hispanic". That being the case, I'll pull for those of European heritage against Joe "Daddy" & George S. is an Aussie of Greek descent.

Joe Stevenson's MySpace Page (*lists Ethnicity)

Stevenson doesn't sound very Hispanic but maybe his mom is Mexican or something. He seems a decent enough guy - supportive of the troops and his kids. But Sotiropoulos has some very good BJJ and should pull this one out.

I know I'm going against the tide of CF and white pride here but I'm rooting for Wandelei Silva in this fight.

WS, Silva seems like a nice guy & is always super aggressive. Sherdog's picked him to win. Word is, Bisping doesn't have the heavy hands to KO Wandy or the BJJ to sub him. I'm leaning towards a Wandy win, but am pulling for (the arrogant, mouthy) Bisping for WP reasons indeed. WPWW!

I know I should root for Bisping too, Dixie... but man I've been a fan of Wanderlei Silva's for so long it's hard to root against him.

I agree with you though, if Bisping wins it will be discounted because Wanderlei is old. He is definitely past his prime I believe, but is still a good fighter.

Guys Vanderlai is pretty much 100 percent White. I have seen a documentary on his family his parents look 100 percent Southern Euro. Obviously if they have long roots in Brazil he could be partially Black or Aboriginal but neither of his parents look anything but White.

Here is hoping that Nog derails the "Brown Pride" express

Shogun, I have become a fan of the "Ax Murderer" Silva myself and if he beats Bisping I will be cool with that.

Wanderlei won my respect when he ran into the ring after Rampage Jackson was talking sh*t

MMA Pro's are picking Nog over Cain by 17-7 (1 couldn't decide). A few that picked Cain did it regretfully...as they liked/respected Nog. Cain may pull a decision(a very slight chance at a TKO), but I'm really hoping Nog KOs or subs the arrogant Vel@$$quez. He's full of himself, whereas Nog seemed like a nice guy & down-to-earth (as a coach on TUF).

Pro's Pick : Big Nog vs. "Brown Pride"

*** FYI, Ben Rothwell was scratched from the fight vs. CroCop due to illness. Mirko will face Aussie Anthony Perosh tonight. I'll be pulling for CroCop.

Good win for Bader though I hope Jardine does not get cut. Keith has all the tools save for one glaring - and obvious - weakness (his chin).

Sotoropolous looking awesome in the first. Total domination so far.

Bisping-Wandy was razor close but Silva dropped Bisping in the last 10 seconds to pull it out.

Here's the full card results from UFC 110 gentlemen...

* Light Heavyweight Bout: James Te-Huna vs. Igor Pokrajac

Te-Huna defeated Pokrajac via TKO (strikes) at 3:26 of round 3.

***My Notes :
- Velasquez will have serious trouble with bigger, stronger & heavy-handed Carwin or Lesnar. Kongo showed Cain's weak chin. Even (a bigger) Mir would give "Brown Pride" trouble. He beat a Nog who's taken a ton of damage from his wars in Pride, & may (now) be passing his prime.

- Bonnar supposedly was PO'd about the fight stoppage as he said the cut was due to a headbutt (therefor it should be a DQ victory for Bonnar).

- Good to see CroCop win.

- I can't say I'm too upset to see the arrogant Bisping lose. I was pulling for him (for WP reasons) but thought he might lose.

- Bader's looking tough. With his wrestling & heavy hands...he might be a contender (for the strap) at 205.
