Assuming England/France are the final 2 to qualify for the Quarters, here's what it looks like in terms of teams to root for (in order of preference):
1. Spain, Greece - the only 2 all-white teams left
2. Italy, Czech Republic - almost entirely white teams, each with a token black
3. Germany, France - majority white teams with a multi-cultural flavor. Really hard to root for either team
4. England - the blackest team left, the team proclaimed by Alexi Lalas to do "great things" in this tournament (surprise, surprise). If England wins Euro 2012, it will be a dark day (pun intended) for football.
This leaves Portugal. I have no idea where they fit in. They seem to have a lot tanned guys, so hard to tell if we'd consider them white, or more of a mixed team like Germany/France.
I'd like to see Spain or Italy (minus Bolatelli) win it. Failing that, anyone but England would work.
I'd rate it by levels:
1. Spain/Greece - Zero problems cheering for either team (Ukraine will go here too if they beat the blacks today).
2. Italy-Czech - almost all-white teams. Balotelli may not start and the Negro for Czech is a non-entity on the pitch.
3. Germany - only one Negro.
4. Portugal - two Negroes but one terrible specimen- Varela - who comes on at the end of the game. One more, Alves, is hard to classify as white but maybe he just tans. In any event, he is not black.
5. France - still pretty bad but much whiter and much less black. Points deserved for whitening the team.
6. England - A perfect specimen of the black supremacist policy of selecting teams. God bless Ukraine if they beat this racist side. I would have no problems cheering for an all-black African side against this team.
