Sterling had a bit of a chance late on. De Bruyne is clearly the best player on the team. If he could score early at the Bernabeu they could get through on the away goal rule but, yes, Real are still favourites, especially if Ronaldo is fit.

i think that real madrid can get a goal scored against them or 2, but will score 3 or more
this is like this most of the time with them these days...

by the way, pepe is clearly better than varane as a defender
varane has been a disappointment
he has been at the club for very long with not much competition since pepe can play in other positions and is getting old
but he's still not an undisputed titular
if you need to defend well in a game, usually you start pepe
in games where you can get goals scored against you, you start varane, that is the harsh reality for this defender that was said to be one of the biggest hopes and best players in the world in this position
real madrid would still get a very high price for him so i hope they sell him

ok, great result for atletico madrid, 1-0 at home, it was stressful like all altletico madrid matches but they are in a good position to kick bayern out
impossible to understand what bayern are doing with their starting 11, so many strange choices
thomas muller, maybe their best player, on the bench, to start PSG reject koman? really?
and no ribery
mario gotze no longer starts also
very strange decisions

I think for a caste perpective athletico, real and bayern must win, barring the brilliant d3bruyne and aguero, city are a digrace.

Hoping for a real athletico final with athletico winning. Greizman is an immence player, toures c9ming back soon :)

Great defensive victory and CL final for Atletico, all-White team except for that token Negro they put the in last few minutes of the game, so nobody can accuse them of "racism". Both goals scored by Atletico are Alabba's fault. The first one (scored in Madrid) he was standing way too far from the scorer allowing for too much space. The second goal he positioned himself completely wrong and got outsmarted by Griezman. Not sure why Pepe Guardiola insists so much on playing him. The only thing he has going for him is a decent shot from outside of the box. Defensively he's criminally bad and a floating mine for his own team, offensively his potential is modest at best (doesn't really know how to center). Hope Atleti go all the way.

yes great result, the whitest team is in a great position to win it all now
griezmann hasn't played much champions league in his career but he has already achieved more than benzema: http://www.goal.com/en/news/1716/ch...na-bayern-whos-next-giant-killer-griezmann-is

benzema dreams about scoring an important goal for real madrid but all he can do is score against the weak teams in the useless and irrelevant matches

alaba was not bad as a fullback, but now they try to play him in different positions, guardiola is turning that team into a total mess
and the germans need to defend more seriously, remember against italy when they let balotelli go for no reason on the second goal?
well this time the score was 1-0 for them, there was no need for all-out attack, and look at their positioning on the second goal: https://streamable.com/9fpl no defenders at all, for no reason

as for atletico's black player, ofcourse the "occidental" media will be happy to be able to include a black player on the celebration pictures etc, even though it's very obvious that atletico madrid could easily do without him coming on at the end of every game
but remember that he is from ghana, a country china has big commercial relations with (atletico madrid is a chinese owned club), not from france, congo, england etc like most of european black players

I was looking at the teams on the official UEFA website. Here is the Northern Ireland page:

http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/season=2016/teams/team=63/squad/index.html

The black guy shown is Josh Magennis. He's not a star, usually a substitute or stand-in in various positions for an injured/suspended player, but he's the only black guy to ever play for Northern Ireland so there he is front and centre; the only player whose face is completely shown on the UEFA page.

Vincent Kompany goes off injured early against Real Madrid. He should look on the bright side: at least this year he won't be to blame for a winning goal for the Spanish opponents of Man City.

manchester city never looked like they were competing with real madrid
it's depressing from a manchester city point of view
they need to start a new cycle, get rid of a lot of players, first one to go should be yaya touré, who was their biggest player but has never managed to take them to the next level in champions league

the champions league final is getting closer :qmiedo:
varane will most likely not play because he got injuried
he didn't play any of the semifinal legs anyways without being injuried so it's time to understand that he's not the great defender everybody thinks he is

Yes,it'll be a great match and either way,the result will be good for us.I fully trust Benzema to play so badly that he'll be the first Real player to be taken off, much like it happened in the last CL final:afro:.But without a doubt,an Atletico win is the better outcome as it is whiter and it will mean that Griezmann will be in pole position for the Ballon D'Or(though the Euros will be a factor).By the way, great new smilies:guitar: Thanks Don for this great site:worship2:
And finally may the best team win:campeon:

Hello to all! I really hope Atletico win tonight! A commendable lack of dindu 'nuffins in their squad...

so real madrid won

on the positive side: real madrid had no non-south american black
a spanish team won, a country that isn't obsessed with black players
and atletico madrid has been one of the very best team in europe, with 2 champions league finals in the last 3 years, while also being perhaps the whitest team in europe over those years
and ofcourse benzema did nothing, useless in the build up and as a striker (he has like what, 4 goals in this CL campaign? with 3 of them being scored against a bad swedish team in a 8-0 one-sided match, that's very bad a a striker in a team that scores so many goals and goes all the way to the final)

negative side: real madrid was obviously a lot less white than atletico madrid (they had mainly brazilian mestizo-type of players as non whites), and you can only feel bad for atletico who have been so unlucky
last final they were going to win it until the very last second when sergio ramos scored the equalising goal
and this year the real madrid goal was ugly, lucky and offside (well taken free kick by kroos though)
overall they deserved a win because in the 2 finals they were better than real madrid yet they have no title at the end of both finals
the best matches in CL are always the semi finals, the final has too much pressure and is decided on only 1 match
also the penalty kicks is the only area of the game where blacks and part-black players are better in my opinion if you have read how i feel about the penalties, so it sucks to have it decide a title so important

also cristiano ronaldo underperformed in the final again but like the last time he had such an impressive CL campaign that he will become a bigger legend no matter what with this title

the brazilian left back marcelo was guilty on atletico madrid's goal, he was not acting as a defender at all once again, what a joke, this guy will be considered one of the best fullbacks in the world, lol, remember brazil's debacle at the 2014 world cup too, it was his

I'm so tired of the bad (corrupt?) officiating in football. I heard one commentator say it was offside but too difficult for the linesmen etc to spot. Well, if that is true then obviously the offside rule should be simplified (maybe eliminated altogether when they are already in the box) or they should go to a replay when there is a goal on a suspected offside. It's the biggest sport in the world yet matches are constantly determined by mistakes due to the offside rule. Given how corrupt many of the countries are involved in the sport there is also always the suspicion of match-fixing.

when you are the underdog, like playing against real madrid in a CL final, i feel like you really have to dominate a lot more than you would really need to win it
atletico madrid's 2 lost finals show this also, i thnk it's not only a matter of luck in their case
also real madrid's defenders did some horrendous fouls, like pepe did one with his foot way up in the air, obviously not going for the ball, and ramos did a bad fall to stop a counter-attack, yet they only got a few yellow cards for it
i also remember a very bad one by danilo
