Giveaway goal of the century by Man City against PSG. City had just taken the lead - a good goal from De Bruyne - then Joe Hart and Brazilian defender Fernando combined to give Ibrahimovic the softest of soft goals. Most of the blame goes to the clueless Fernando. Has Brazil ever produced good defenders? Speaking of which David Luiz was hopeless on the De Bruyne goal, though the break for City seemed to start with an errant pass by Matuidi.

Neither are up at YouTube yet.

hart did nothing wrong

when david luiz played at benfica where the PL fans saw him first, he was clearly not the best defender, luisao was, another brazilian, who was almost as good as lucio
but he was not in his early 20s so he didn't exist in the eyes of the PL fans who like young players for their career mode on FIFA16

another brazilian defender, marcelo, was really bad for real madrid (2-0 defeat, benzema once again got injuried in the match, great to have no other striker)

marcelo and fernando are the ones who got humiliated the most in the legendary 7-1 defeat against germany at the world cup

serge aurier was also guilty on the last goal of the match
why does he still play for PSG after insulting his coach on the beurette-watch app "periscope" while smoking on his hookah

about yesterday's games, it's sad that one of atletico or barcelona will be out, atletico madrid has a very positive result but i would rather have barcelona in the next stage because they will most likely win it all
while atletico are whiter and can upset anybody but there is no guarantee that they can win it all

benfica played well agaisnt bayern losing only 1-0 in germany but 1-0 at home is a very good result at home because of the away goal rule
but if benfica play like this at home they can win 1-0 or 2-0

worst fullback in a top club with evra
atleast he can hold the ball unlike evra or sagna but i read a post one day mentionning how he kept the ball a lot but had no end product, and since then i never saw him the same way, he has no end product, he is useless and a very bad defender

The camera couldn't even keep up with Fernando's giveaway goal.... astounding, maybe a one in a thousand or one in ten thousand mistake. I think Mexico poached one off the USA nats in the early 90s if I'm not mistaken (anyway, 25 years ago or so). Tony Meola blasting the ball of the head of a streaking Mexican into the goal? I'll look for it. The replay clips of the highlights today start with the ball in the back of the net (they were not focused on the ball because it was impossible).

very close to the 4-0 goal in germany-brazil 2014
the same fernando loses the ball the same way just after a goal was scored (the camera couldn't keep up either, at the beginning they were still showing kroos who scored the 3-0 goal i think)

about the psg the worst players were matuidi, david luiz and serge aurier
http://www.eurosport.fr/football/li...-noye-et-paris-la-paye_sto5425059/story.shtml

serge aurier not much of a surprise, he shouldn't start everybody knows it
david luiz not a great defender, he sould play in midfield
matuidi, that's interesting, everybody agree that he isn't skilled enough for big matches like that
he did many mistakes including one that led to the first goal, and one that annihiliated a great goal scoring opportunity for psg

It will be funny if PSG are better next week when Matuidi and David Luiz are suspended. Since I don't follow French football I have no idea who will replace them.

i think they can win there
manchester city are not good at all
verratti should have started this match but he's injured
pastore is injured too
so he will have to probably make di maria play in midfield instead of winger
for david luiz the replacement will be another brazilian, marquinhos

Marcelo was wholly responsible for Wolfsburg's opener:

Mystery mutt Casemiro gave away the penalty which resulted in the second goal:

Also, please note Danilo's statistics vs Wolfsburg: 0 tackles won, 0 aerial duels won, 0 interceptions, 0 blocks and 0 take-ons.
Good thing is that such an embarrassing exit would make it very hard for Real to stick with Zidane.A sensible replacement would be Unai Emery.

Matuidi cost PSG the second game and probably the tie with his antics:

How is it possible to mess up in such a way?Genetics maybe....

Real are through to the Semis thanks to Ronaldo's one man show :

A hat-trick to rival that another great one for Portugal was Sweden in the game which took Portugal to the 2014 World Cup.

This is a the first football game I've seen in ages,as my friend had me wait at a bar this morning, where a replay of this game was playing.Wolfsburg were so black, you'd be forgiven to think they were a "French" club.Naldo,Dante,Gustavo,Guliavougi...and I'm still missing a couple of names.Look at how pathetic the two black CB's were in the first goal or how all the tall black in the world were useless for the second goal or how the black wall parted like the Red Sea in the third goal.Simply pathetic. Its a shock they made it this far,if anything. The game looked set for Extra time and then penalties(where Wolfsburg had a fighting chance) as Real had zero creativity and had spent all energy on their initial wave of attack which yielded two goals.

For Real,Benzema was bad,Bale wasn't the best but had to track back a lot,but the worst player was the mystery meat Casemiro who seems incapable of making forward passes.Every pass of his was towards his own goal or a square one to Kroos, who was the second best player on the pitch with his great passing.

Man City went through against PSG as well, thank to another great individual performance by Kevin De Bruyne, who scored the only goal of the second leg:

No settling period,no adjustment to a new league,no too young,no bullshi* excuses.Ozil,Alexis Sanchez,Martial,Willian...and all other non white advanced midfielders bought at ridiculous prices move aside. This white guy is the real deal, and the best player in the league. If he wasn't surrounded by 6 non whites on average,he'd have won the league.

Finally,Barca got schooled by Atletico who inflicted a humiliating 2-0 defeat on them.Griezmann's first goal was a great header from a great pass by Saul(a jew name if there ever was one,I know):

https://streamable.com/0xfo

Griezmann also scored a penalty,btw.

i saw that match too
how was it to see benzema live? did you see all his work for the team? seriously , ridiculous, people say he's very good at passing etc when he doesn't score and has zero striker activity in a game but if you watch the game you know it's false
he did nothing for the whole game

Great goal from De Bruyne to put City through. Here's a video of all De Bruyne's touches in the match.

Just before half time a Benzema shot sailed way too high. He was subbed (Jesé) at half time. Real Madrid look quite ordinary without Ronaldo but they've still had more chances to score than City.

Sterling had a bit of a chance late on. De Bruyne is clearly the best player on the team. If he could score early at the Bernabeu they could get through on the away goal rule but, yes, Real are still favourites, especially if Ronaldo is fit.
