Leverkusen will probably be the fourth Bundesliga representative in the group stage - they won 2-3 away to Copenhagen. Besiktas and Arsenal played to a 0-0 draw and Napoli v Athletic Bilbao 1-1 - including a goal by Higuain:

Well, that's certainly an understatement. For the benefit of our members who aren't football (sorry - soccer...:icon_wink fans here's the story...

Celtic faced Poland's Legia Warszawa in the third qualifying round. Legia won both matches (4-1 in Warsaw and 2-0 in Glasgow) to complete a 6-1 aggregate belting. Yet despite that 6-1 scoreline, Celtic are going through to the final playoff round. Why's that, I hear You ask? Please read on...

Legia defender Bartosz Bereszynski had been sent off in the Polish club's final Europa League game of last season (at home versus Cyprus's Apollon Limassol), for which he was handed a three-match suspension from European competition. Bereszynski therefore duly sat out Legia's initial two matches against the Republic of Ireland's St. Patrick's Athletic in addition to the first leg of the Celtic tie. That's a total of three matches, correct?

However, Legia had failed to register Bereszynski in their squads for the matches against St. Patrick's Athletic. This meant that in UEFA's eyes the suspension had technically not been served.

So when Bereszynski came on in the 86th minute of the second leg in Glasgow - with Legia already 2-0 up - he was still technically an ineligible player. This activated Article 21 of UEFA's Disciplinary Regulations which states that "a match is declared forfeit if a player who has been suspended following a disciplinary decision participates in the match". The punishment for such a breach was a 3-0 walkover in favour of Celtic - which meant that the aggregate score changed from 6-1 to 4-4. As Celtic had scored an away goal during their 1-4 loss in Warsaw the Scottish club, er, "won" on the away goals rule!

In short, Legia have been eliminated due to a clerical error. Celtic clearly lost a two-leg tie to the tune of 6-1 yet have been handed a pass into the final playoff round. By now, everyone here is probably aware of my Polish background so I'll readily admit that I'm not exactly a neutral in this matter (and am still incandescently fuming that Legia displayed a glaring lack of professionalism by stupidly omitting Bereszynski from their squads for the matches with St. Patrick's Athletic...) but I'll wager that if the situation was reversed and Celtic (or any other so-called "big club") had commited such a clerical error, UEFA would have "deliberated" before simply imposing a fine. After all, Celtic are a "brand" with a massive global Irish and Scottish fan base which will pay to watch their team cop repeated beltings in the money-milking Champions League. Because football is a business, don't You know...

Poor Arsenal,third time in four seasons now,that they get the same group as Dortmund.Atleast this time,they only have Galatasaray and Anderlecth besides Dortmund.


Group C,having Benfica,Zenit,Leverkusen and Monaco is tough to call.I'll back Benfica for sure.Leverkusen above Monaco as well.Zenit might have a huge advantage at home in the winter,so can't rule them out.

In group H,Porto is a shoo-in,not that I like it.Hopefully Athletic Bilbao will see off Shakhtar Donetsk,who I hate for obvious reasons(Jewish owner,black teams).

Hopefully in group E,Roma can see off ManCity and CSKA Moskva and qualify with Bayern(who are in the same group as Mancity for two seasons in a row now).

We all know Robben cannot shoot or cross with his right foot. He can barely even make short passes with it! Cover his left at all times, especially inside the box when he's trying to move to the inside, even if it gives him a gap to his right. What makes it even worse is that they played for the same team so you'd think Cole would've been prepared for this.

Of course Balotelli's "role" extends far beyond the realm of mere sport. The systematic promotion of Negroes and other non-Europeans in sports and "entertainment" has obviously always primarily served as a vehicle for the wider, long-term aim of "selling" non-White immigration to the gullible White masses. Manuel Neuer's failure to move helped as well. I reckon You or I could have put that one away without any problems. The second was admittedly a decent strike but Balotelli only managed to beat the offside trap due to a combination of Riccardo Montolivo's excellent pass and - just as significantly - Phillip Lahm's sluggish indecision.

Baotelli's embarrassing stuff-ups at the World Cup coupled with his crap play at Liverpool are making him one of the biggest - if not the biggest - jokes in the sport.
