Guys he is 24 years old do you want him to fight Klitschko and get ruined like Cooney did 30 years ago? For a 24 year old prospect who has defensive deficiencies he has been matched tough to this point of his career. Who has Travis Kaufmann fought? Anyway the Haye fight is more a circus with big money in it than a path to a title shot.

I figured out why this fight got signed it's the second biggest fight in heavyweight boxing both fighters are splitting a 10 million pound purse or the equivalent of nearly 8 milllion US dollars a piece. That's probably more than they can get as challengers versus Wladimir. Plus the winner could demand a big challengers purse to fight Wladimir in the future. Tyson Fury vs. Wladimir Klitschko would be a mega fight if Fury beats Haye.
Ideal scenario: Fury beats Haye, and Wladimir Klitschko KOs Fury in 2014.
But I doubt Fury can get past Haye.

No this year after Wlad vs Povetkin. Considering it's the unofficial domestic championship(Price is the official domestic champion) the purse is huge. Obviously as we stated the winner can demand what he wants in terms of purse in a clash with Wlad or the winner would be positioned to fight Steverne for the vacant WBC belt or at least the "regular" WBA belt.
Guys, Fury can beat Haye if he does 2 things. Come into fight in supreme condition. and Second, fight tall, really tall. Use his height and long jab all night to keep an explosive Haye at bay. Then occasionally drop the right hand on Haye's noggin. Really simple strategy based on the size and reach of Fury.

I have to disagree with you Westside. Tyson is not fast enough to deal with Haye and he doesn't know how to fight tall. Cunningham put Fury on the canvas, Haye will destroy him. What can Fury expect? He will not knock Haye out, even Klitschko couldn't. He could potentially win on points.

Yeah I think Haye will beat Fury based on Tysons refusal to box smart. He will be too ****y with haye and get caught.
However if he does like Westside says, and fights tall, and smart he does stand a chance for sure. At least 75% of his punches need to be stiff jabs followed by lateral movement.

Haye is the favourite but Fury has a chance if he gets his tactics right.Fury's best chance maybe to fight Haye on the inside like he did Cunningham,lean on him,throw body shots and uppercuts and wear him down.

I'm a huge fan of Tyson Fury, so I will be supporting him big time for his upcoming bout with David Haye. I see that some users on this site seem to criticize Fury, and that's understandable, but personally I think Tyson Fury is awesome and a great role model.
Fury is totally confident, in some ways he reminds me of Vitali Klitschko, he's like that type of "born fighter" who never gets intimidated. Lol, I think its awesome. At the press conference he was making fun of David Haye, and refusing to look him in the eye. I thought it was hilarious. And Tyson demanding an 80% split was also hilarious.
As for the fight, as much as I like Tyson Fury, I admit its going to be hard for him to win the fight. However let me just say this:
- Tyson Fury can surprise you. Don't count him out. He has all the confidence in the world. He also has tremendous size, and he fights intelligently. He is more talented than people give him credit for. His KO win over Cunningham was extremely impressive. No one has ever knocked Cunningham out before, and he's fought pretty much everybody at his weightclass. To be completely honest, Cunningham VS Haye would be a fight that I expect would be competitive and in portions, I'd expect Cunningham to outbox Haye.
- Tyson Fury has a huge size advantage, and the later the fight goes, the better Fury's chances. His methodical breakdown of Cunningham was so impressive. Its going to be hard to survive the first few rounds against Haye because of Haye's powershots, but if Tyson is careful and makes it to round 4 or 5, I can see him putting Haye on the ropes and brutally breaking him down. Haye is going to have trouble keeping such a big man off of him. For what its worth, Haye also has shown chin issues in the past and his punch resistance and durability is questionable.
The more I think about it, the more I like Fury's chances in the fight. He needs to *be careful* and box in a measure the first 4 rounds, but after that he needs to back Haye up and pound him.
I think if Tyson fights smart he can win this, possibly even by stoppage. He's got the size and the strength. Haye has been knocked out before and he is not the most durable fighter. If Tyson survives early, then puts pressure on, I see him winning by TKO.

I used to gamble a bit here and there on boxing, so as a reference, sometimes I would search youtube for fight predictions. There is one user in particular, dwyer70905, that I used to often listen to. He is a black man, but he largely is race-neutral and calls fights as he sees them. He's often predicted many white Europeans to upset Black Americans and his predictions are usually on point. I don't always agree with him, but in this case, I agree with his view:

When Tyson was in his prime he wasn't making "that much" as most of his fights were on regular HBO so he earned maybe 4 million a fight and had the closed circuit event against Spinks where they split about 30 million, about 18 for Tyson and 12 for Spinks. After he got out of Jail PPV took off and he was making 20 million a fight and his income peaked out at 30 million for the Lewis fight.

Perfectly said man. Wladimir showed how vulnerable and beatable Haye really is. Fury is even taller and heavier than Wladimir, so he can use his jab offensively all night long and his body (when he needs to) to stop Haye's bombs and attacks. Once he forces that massive body and weight of his on Haye for a couple of times, he will discourage Haye like big time.
All Fury needs to do is to fight smart and like you said use his natural tools. His stamina also has to be 100% for that fight. It's up to him really, let's hope he won't disappoint us like over-hyped Price. I have faith in Fury. I like his ****y style and confidence. Whites British boys need to look up to white athletes like him for a change and start building some confidence. In all honesty I am sick and tired of all the "humble" white guys.........The Zionist media "baptize" their humbleness as them being "boring" and the Negroes always get all the coverage and better sponsors. Fury is awesome as he is. All he needs now is to crucify Haye inside the ring too!

I think Fury will destroy Haye. What's so great about haye? He's never once beat a top heavyweight contender. He lost to a very sick valuev but the hired judges gave him the win anyway. He had an obvious fixed fight with his buddy Harrison who took a dive. He did every dirty trick to beat Barrett including getting his hotel reservation canceled so he couldn't sleep the night before. He beat Ruiz at the tail end of his career. What was Ruiz rated, #65 or something? Barrett too. He was pathetic, like a little fairy, vs. Wlad. Hìs best win was vs chisora who had previously lost three out of four.

Thanks. Well, we'll see. No question that Haye has very dangerous punching power. Wouldn't like to see the "traveling man" get caught like he did vs Cunningham. The bookies are still saying Haye is a 3 to 1 favorite. I'd like to bet on Fury especially at 3 to 1. Actually you'd get 2 1/2 to 1 after the books finish with their usurious spread, but on the other hand you have to give them 3 1/2. Sounds fair to me.
