Adamek's KO of Banks is eerily similar to Pavlik's KO of Taylor.

Tomasz reminds me of a throwback white fighter, sorta like Jack Demsey. I still can't believe how he shook off those perfert rights from Banks then moments later KOs him viciously.

For trivia purposes, did you guys know that Banks was the black guy at all of Wlad's recent victories. It was stated that he was Wlad's sparring partner, when I heard that, I thought Adamek would have his hands full. Gladly he proved me wrong tonite.

Jonathan Banks is a close friend of Wlad and he seems like an exceptionally nice guy. If Banks was fighting any other black guy, I'd be rooting for him.

I had Banks winning the first four rounds. He seemed more relaxed and natural with his punches, while Adamek appeared to be very tight. From the fifth on Adamek found the range turned it up and started nailing Banks with wicked body shots.

Can Adamek take a punch? Banks landed at least three perfect knockout punches during the fight but couldn't put Adamek down. Enough to dissolve a man's resolve.

You can download the fight from DOWNLOAD LINK - it takes about 15 minutes but it's excellent quality, much better than YouTube. Save it to a folder of your choice, and then play it using Windows Media Player or RealPlayer.

Tomasz Adamek is very different than Golota. One of his greatest attributes is mental strength - he remains calm and confident despite adversity. Golota was very talented, but lacked mental fortitude.

There nothing I'd like to see more than the proud, racist Hopkins being KOed and humbled by Adamek!

Tomasz is more solidly built and stronger than Kelly Pavlik, and is more clever and technically skilled. I think he would have a very good chance of winning, especially if the shrewd and skillful Hopkins slowed in the later rounds.

I think it's quite possible the fight may take place, probably on HBO, because it would make a LOT of money.

Nice guy my ass.Don't blink was what Banks said about this fight and was already talking about his first title defence in that black hole known as Detroit.Well, just as it looked like he thought he was going to close the show after landing that right hand the show was closed on him by Adamek.It was cool to see all that red and white in the crowd cheering on the tough as nails Pole.It's just about piwo time although I don't have any Zydowiec I guess Pabst will do and as always Na Zdrowie,Tomasz and may you live sto lat.

Adamek is (after seeing his last two fights) probably my favorite fighter now. The guys fights are incredibly exciting, he's got great technique, chin, good speed and power. Wlodkarycz and Fragomeni are fighting soon. If Krystof beat Fragomeni, we could in the future see a Polish unification bout.

Adamek's last two fights were in the USA, against caste-loved blackies. The fact that he defeated both in spectacular fashion, Cunningham (3 knockdowns), and Banks (devastating TKO), is more than enough for him to earn much needed respect in the USA. Since he's based now in New Jersey, he'll fight in the USA the rest of the way. He is by far the BEST Polish Boxer ever!!!

Tony Zale was pretty darn good in his prime. Given name was Anthony Florian Zaleski.

He was a 2-time world middleweight champion and made the Ring Magazine's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time. Zale is best remembered for his three bouts over a 21-month period with Rocky Graziano for the middleweight crown. These three bouts were among the most brutal and exciting middleweight championship matches of all time. The first match took place in Yankee Stadium, New York. Zale had served in World War II, was thirty-three years old, and had been inactive for about four years. Graziano was on a winning knockout streak and seemed to be in his prime. In their first match (September 27, 1946), after flooring Graziano in the first round, Zale took a savage beating from Graziano, and was on the verge of losing the fight by TKO. However, he rallied and knocked out Graziano in the sixth round to retain his title. The rematch, a year later in Chicago (16 July 1947), was a mirror image of their first fight. Graziano was battered around the ring, suffered a closed eye and appeared ready to lose by a knockout, then rallied and knocked Zale out in the sixth round, becoming middleweight champion of the world.


Their last fight was held in New Jersey the following year (10 June 1948). Zale regained his crown, winning the match by a knockout in the third round. Stanley Ketchel might be the best Polish fighter ever. Adamek is probably the best large Polish fighter ever(or at least the most accomplished as Golota had a world of talent). Adamek should make serious money if the Hopkins fight materializes. He deserves a 7 figure payday after the two Briggs wars and now these cruiserweight wins.

Even though Daruisz maybe the best ever, Adamek is fast gaining as the most recognizable ever, no thanks to this day and age, not to mention he's fighting on US soil.

Zale and Ketchel are more worthy all-time greats, due to the fact they fought is some of the most memorable fights ever: Zale-Graziano Trilogy, Ketchel vs. Johnson (Ketchel scored an impossible knockdown). Had Ketchel has been bigger, he'd smoke Johnson in a flash. They were also Americans.

Dariusz won ALL the belts at light heavyweight at one time or another. He briefly held three at the same time after defeating Virgil Hill, but the corrupt boxing commission took the IBF and WBA away without a good reason. Perhaps they didn't want to recognize a white European as the champion.

Dariusz fought pretty much all the same people as Roy Jones during that time period, and defeated them all. He beat several who defeated James Toney, such as Drake Thadzi and Montell Griffin.

Roy Jones ducked him for years - Dariusz agreed to come to the US but Jones didn't want to fight him.

"IMO, if Hopkins could dominate a bigger, equally powerful guy in Tarver, I think he will have a field day with Adamek.
