With his fourth TD pass today and 559th of his career, Tom Brady passed Drew Brees for most TD passes of all time. This should go back and forth, maybe, for a while as Brees has 558 TD passes.

Every time football is brought up to me I bring up Tom Brady. I make sure to say that Brady is the greatest football player of all time. I marvel that he is still playing at a high level at his age.

I can tell that some of the people I say this to don't like me saying this. They apparently think you should only praise black players, which is what they do.

The thing is they can't say anything in response. Because it's true. Brady is the greatest player of all time.

They have always preferred running backs as "the greatest player in the game" to quarterbacks. Several years ago Jerry Rice was christened the Greatest Football Player of All Time. Before that Jim Brown was generally given that title. Rice got the title in large part due to longevity since Brown had "only" nine years. Pass receivers had never been considered "the greatest" before, Don Hutson came closest.

Tom Brady has played the most important position better than anybody else longer than anybody else. You could argue Brady was a better QB than Rice was a WR for an even longer period of time. Since Tom Brady is playing at top level at age 44, I would say he is now the Greatest Football Player of All Time.

It's a factual perspective. Anyone with a knowledge of the game and is truly honest (and that's a tall order nowadays) will conclude Brady is the greatest football player of all time. It's really not even close.

One thing about Don Hutson that always intrigued me is that he did not run off to join the military to save Joe Stalin and he retired in 1945, and no one ever mentions that. Not that I care I don't denigrate anyone except communists and their simps, and I'm from a family where WWII was the pinnacle of America and they were all Wisconites and Packers fans. Reason I mention this is that the media builds a person up and tears a person down and I assume given time Hutson along with his teammate Bear Bryant will start getting nibbled on by the remoras of ClownWorld, and since I have an active imagination I don't think Vince Lombardi will escape a thrashing.
