I worked at McDonalds for 6 years during high school and college (along with laying blacktop, and many other part-time jobs).
It was an all-white crew, all-white customers, all-white ownership, in an all-white town....needless to say, everything ran very smoothly and our crew won "Fast Food Resteraunt of the Year" several times over. It was actually a really great job and was loads of fun, plus they were super-flexible to my HS, sports, and college schedules.
The same owner also owned McD's in more diverse locations (I worked at every location, when needed)....terrible profits, slack-ass employees, theft, constant quitting, extremely dirty, customer complaints, infinate order screw-ups, etc.
Come on now no ghetto cashier can think that quick on her feet. She just can't count....
Me and other white male employees used to say "1 white guy could do the work of an full, all-black crew." It was basically true.
